If you think this will be your only one do it. If you think you will get another ex pass don't. Also that moveset is only useful for raids (Although now it's only good against machamp and jynx, you can use it against the latis in the future), in gyms you are better off using focus blast because 99% of gyms are going to have blissey, chansey, snorlax and maybe slaking, all of them which laugh at shadow ball.

Mewtwo question
So after playing the game for a little over 6mo, I finally got an EX invite, and I caught this Mewtwo:
82% 12-10-15 A-D-S. I TM'ed it to Confusion/Shadow Ball, which seems to be the consensus best moveset for Mewtwo
My question is, is it worth powering up? And if Yes, where will I use it?

My first mewtwo i caught was 78%. I got him up to level 31 and then i caught my second mewtwo, a 100%. And guess what, im pushing both of them! The 100% one has C/SB(generalist) and the other one is just pure Psychic(specialist). If i get a third one, it will be definitly a blissey-killer with Focus Blast. ;)
I like psycho cut better than confusion. I use my PC/Shadow Ball mewtwo's mainly in the following situations.
1. Mewtwo raids
2. As a backup attacker in some T5 raids when mewtwo deals neutral damage and I don't have enough optimal counters.
3. Previously gengar/alakazam raids, now it should be useful in jynx raids, but I haven't done any jynx raids yet.
