For a cool name like "Draco Meteor", the animation sure is underwhelming.

Half the time the attack animations in the game don't work. After using Raikou for half a year, I finally saw what Wild Charge actually looks like yesterday. Another thing Niantic needs to work on....

That poof was probably Dragon Tail. Draco Meteor is a really cool bombardment of stony bodies.

Are you sure you didn’t get robbed of the animation during the attack? DM is pretty similar to Solar Beam (when the animation works). You send a shot into the sky, and a second later some devastating looking meteors come crashing into your opponent.

Was this in a raid or a gym fight? Charge attack animations hardly ever work for me in raids. Too many players. Too much going on.

There seems to be some glitch with charge move animations where they won't always display if you fire them off too quickly after using your last quick move. The damage still happens, of course, but no animation. If you wait about a second or so between filling the bar and firing off the move though, the animation will display properly.

I have noticed though that when you have a slow quick move (confusion, for example), the charge move animation will always display, even if you fire it off right away.

I remember one time a few players and I were battling against Kyogre, and with our Exeggutors managed to shoot of like 5 solar beams off at the same time. It was epic.
