Surprise Valentine's event starting in 45 min?

The Gen 3 wave should end tonight, probably 1 p.m. PDT (22:00 CET). They can go back to the regular scheduled spawns but since there was an event last year I am kind of prepared to find pinkish Pokémon instead...

I was happy when I hatched the first one, I was even quite pleased when I hatched my 2nd one. After that they became quite annoying.
Then I was okay with catching a wild one. After a few more I am not as happy.

Yeah, it's probably right up there with Dullsparce-I mean Dunsparce for most useless pokemon. Does not evolve, has little power, and Niantic (and Nintendo too) could have done more with it. I mean there's Alomomola but nope, it's unrelated...

Well, at least the stardust is going to be useful in preparing my dark/ghost team for Mewtwo. And the nest shuffle brought me an Aron nest nearby, so now i can level up my shiny Aggron and my non-shiny one.

Dang... all I wanted was double candy for sending to the prof.

Chanseys are mentioned in the event's message when opening the game, but idk if they will spawn too.

Congrats! So it's true, there is one swimming around.

It wasn’t a huge surprise since lures and sales were extended well beyond the grn3 event, but good call anyways. I was hoping for double candy but this mini event is decent for Stardust grinding.
