Damn You Swablu!

Not since the Great Pidgey Migration of 2016 has a flying Pokémon been such a nuisance.

I have 247 candies. I’d have the required 400 if I hadn’t just gotten sick of catching the worthless fluff ball.

Alas, I’m bitter about my 152 Wailmer candy. At least I have a WB 96% IV one ready for evolution.

Accepting donations of Swablu here... Only caught 2 of them little cotton swabs. I hope my trip to the big Swablu nest will be possible tomorrow...

Last night I went for a walk at a local park. Caught 10+ Swablu in five minutes. They are everywhere. Haven't played much though, so I'm far from having enough candies.

As for Wailmer however....
I hatched a good one and had him as Buddy. Was fortunate to catch a few and hatch a couple and could eventually evolve one.
A couple of days later I hatched three in a row!
And since then a few more. So I'm already have over 300 candies!
It's fun to evolve one to get that big ass whale, but I wasn't planning on getting another one, even if I did hatch a 96% one.

Anyway, I hope you get enough candies for one. It might not be useful, but it is quite fun to put in gyms just because if the size ;)

Caught 97 in two days. Evoluted the best one and stopped catching ever since.

Ugh, I just get sick of them. Watching catching more than replenishing poke balls, and just got tired. Trying to get back to my normal level of 300+ poke balls before mounting another campaign.

There might be a pun or double entendre in there somewhere. ?

You say that now, but in 3 days after Gen3 event ended, you wwould be dreading not catching enough of them.

And they dont even spawn that often around some areas.

I’d say so if Altraia was a viable mon in the meta. I’d take a Wailord first BY FAR!

I know right! Even in weather that his not affected by it still swarms my area. I don't mind though since I love Altaria but I already have 2 of them.

Got Altaria in one day thanks to partly cloudy weather. These 2 days since sunny weather there are less.

Yes, there's definitely plenty of Swablu around. However, if you find a good water biome, you will eventually get sick of catching Wailmers too. I walk the Canal Walk near downtown Indianapolis and they're everywhere. I've evolved one and I still have 771 candies. I don't even bother looking at them unless it's raining now. They are kind of a pain because since they're so big, alot of times the mons that you want are hidden beneath them, especially if there's a group of them together. Sometimes you have to catch them to get to whats under them.

I've seen... two of them. Certainly not common around here, and I wish they were since they take so many candies to evolve.

That's odd... what do you see a lot of? What is your location?
