The strength of a true Machamp
Hi PoGo colleagues,
What is your experience with Machamp? Is it worth to power it up? I have a near perfect Machamp with KC + CC since the very beginning of the game but never really used it.
Could someone briefly explain why it is never ranked among the good attackers, while it is a proper counter to lapras, (some) snorlax and in the future tyranitar. Is it due his low defence stats?

I have powered up mine, 95% IV with KC/CC to 2200 CP and use it mainly against Lapras when I want to use something different than an electric mon. Does not worth to spend lot of dust mainly because of low dps of KC, but it is not a bad mon, and I believe that when gen2 has been full released we might see another re balance in CP and moves and fighting moves might get a boost.
Despite the weak damage of Karate Chop and Cross Chop I still stand for Machamp as a good attacker. Dodging charge moves, he performs just fine against common attackers like Vaporeon, Lapras, even Rhydon. Grass type is very rare in my area, so I use Machamp a lot against water pokemon when my Jolteon is dead. Cross chop's cooldown is very low which allows you to dodge more moves and inflict more damage with Karate Chop. Even so, I took mine only to lvl 30.
