Is there any use for this Gen2 babies??

So, today i got my Gen 2 baby.
After getting my first 10km egg in weeks, i was so unlucky that i got it in the morning of the 12.12, so what i hatched was a beautiful yet useless Elekid.
I've never hatched a Lapras, or Snorlax, or Chancey, and now i also have to lower the chances of getting them because of this useless babies!?
Who's ideas was to put them in the 10Km eggs? It was painful enough to get an Electabuzz, or Magmar, or Jynx, (or the usual Onyx), but now we get their babies!
Anyway, anyone have any idea what to do with this babies, or even with their evolved forms...??
PS: They haven't been added to the IV Calculator yet, but surely GamePress will soon.

I don't have a good answer for you...why would I spend 50 candies to get an electrobuzz (which I already don't want) from a baby (I really don't want). I guess the only baby worth having is Togepi.

If before, we had a chance of 4/16 of getting a good 'mon (Snorlax, Lapras, Dratini, Chancey), and i never got it... now chances are 4/19!!!???
They should go down to 5kms!!

I don't think it's ever been as straightforward as that. Where you collect the egg seems to influence the hatch - hence I've only had 2 Snorlax, 2 Chancey, 2 Lapras and 2 Dratini, but 9 Onix, 7 Pinsir, 8 Evee etc.

I believe they replaced their respective evolutions so the chances still the same

Eggs are generally only useful for stardust and xp, it's rare I hatch anything in any egg distance that is worth keeping.

They should remove electabuzz, magmar and jynx from 10k eggs.
It doesn't make sense you can hatch both baby and evolved forms.

Babies are just for the pokedex. And even togepi is hard to get plus not such a great mon except for the pokedex entry. Togekiss..maybe good but thats far away.
Alltogether the whole update is purely shit and nothing to really get me on my toes. A FUCKING PIKACHU WITH A SANTA HAT! I MEAN REALLY??
