I'd like to ask the editor to edit the map. How do contact the editor (preferably without creating an account)?

When you make an account on a site, and go to the Q&A section and don't ask or answer a question.

Then you use a post to tell people to follow the guidelines when using a different website.

All I was trying to do was help get the info out about the new map sharing. Didn’t need to bust my chops for it.

I know...the site was 'cyber vandalised' and people don't like it - most users on here wouldn't like it either for the record.
You are just pointing players to the information page and that is cool. No harm no foul.

Snoopy184,

There's a park/soccer field near my house that wasn't marked as a park in OpenStreetMap, so I tried to edit it to be a park. Doesn't seem to have taken, in that the park tracker from this website doesn't recognize it. Any advice?

Not at this time. Might need to contact OSM. I’m still getting myself familiar with the site as well.
