Blastoise Moveset
Hello all,
I have a 1454cp blastoise that is 87%IV and has Bite and Hydro pump. Should i power him up or wait to evolve another? Not sure which one is more efficient. This is my first blastoise and im welcoming any feedback.Thanks!

Comparing to IV, 0 attack IV Blastoise does 7.5% less damage than full attack IV one (1-186/(186+15)=7.5%)
Although Kukui did not consider energy gain from losing HP, it is accurate enough to do this rough math.
On the other hand, I only use Blastoise to counter defenders that weak to water; or to against steal wing Dragonite (bite/water gun+ ice beam Blastoise).
Bite + hydro pump Blastoise is just good at nothing imo. But 87% Blastoise is a thing, you do not want to transfer it. He can do his job to train your own gym, just not good enough to be powered up this patch.
