Should I evolve lvl35 71IV Ralts?

Today I've caught my best Ralts with 360 CP lvl35 and 71-73IV (either 8/13/11 or 7/14/12) and I'm thinking of evolving it into Gardevoir. I'm currently walking with Ralts so I will get candies eventually and I'm not lucky with Gen 3 eggs to get a great IV one :(
What will you adivise? Maybe since it has quite a high level, evolving it would worth it?

Because a level 30 or above, 82% or above ralts is nearly impossible to find without some luck, you can try evolving it if they are not very common in your area. But you will be kinda dissappointed if it had a bad moveset.

Personally for me Ralts are not hard to find in cloudy weather, so i would just wait for a good iv, female one and evolve it and the males for gallade in the future.

This 'save a good IV male for gen4' is not as important as it has been made out to be.
If you get another decent IV Ralts after saving a male, there is a very good chance (50%) that it too would be male also.

If the male/female split was 25/75 like starters (and many others) then it might be more relevant...with a 50/50 split, and so much time before we see gen4, the suggestion to not use a good IV Ralts if it is male is not as important as some claim it to be...and borderlines on bad advice, especially if it will be useful in the here and now

It will definitively become a decent Gardevoir if you evolve it, despite that the attack stats are not so good (if listed first). I would personally not evolve it unless I had a surplus of candy to use, and I assume this is not the case since you are walking it as your buddy. Be patient is my advice, you might regret it down the road when you eventually obtain a great IV one..

If you do decide to, I just would not invest any dust or additional candies into it, especially since the average ivs for egg hatches are 37-38/45 ivs (82-84%) and the likelihood you’ll hatch one with greater than 73% ivs in the future, when you do end up hatching one, is high

That is if you had dust to power it up, i generally don't like evolving egg pokemon unless they are rare enough to merit me to do so like feebas.

If you are evolving but not planning to power it up any higher, it is fine. Gardevoir with 7atk IV at level 35 is close to 15atk IV at level 31.

A lot of people don't power pokemon higher than level 30 (the point at which CP gain is halved and power up costs begin to sky rocket) unless they are going for a breakpoint against a specific matchup. The key matchup for Gardevoir is probably either Confusion/Dazzling Gleam against Machamp raids or Charge Beam/Shadow Ball against Mewtwo, so check those if you are concerned about breakpoints.

Today I evolved a lvl 35 56% one. It's pretty close to 2600 cp now. Your call.

I would wait for a better IV one, and I would also consider maxing one that you do plan to evolve.

Gardevoir is such that you only really need one on your team. Its role doesn't necessitate a squad of 6 of them, since they're not the Queens of DPS. It is a good attacker with great moves great typing and decent stats.

It also is great for gymholding since it disrupts Machamps Dragonites and, to a lesser extent, Tyranitars, and you can be certain that it will be berry-fed like a queen.

If you need another Pokemon to add to a solo Machamp team, go for it. If you like collecting highest IV possible for every Pokemon, don't.

That's all Gardevoir's really good for right now. Or dumping it in gyms if gym defence is relevant to you, but for most players it isn't.

The low IVs aren't that important because you're not going to max it and Confusion's damage breakpoints are not significant because of how slow the move is. It'll perform better than a perfect level 30 Gardevoir.

Even against Rayquaza it's not going to be amazing. It'll be tanky against Outrage movesets but it lacks DPS, so you're better off with ice types anyway for total damage output, and is not useful against the other 4 movesets because it's only advantage is it's fairy typing.
