3 hour events

Not fun. Too stressful. The odds I'll be able to play during those specific hours every month is unlikely.

Agreed, at least a whole day but preferably a weekend. It’s only Pikachu, for now at least.

there will be extra XP and stardust rotating i gess, i think its a good thing since you will have 2x xp every 2 months so you can schedule mass evolutions, and stardust grind with starpieces saving 10k eggs and stocking berries to feed in gyms

Stressfull? you don't have to play, you can just sit at home and make a few evolutions, and its on saturdays, its a good oportunity to people gatter, make 2 or 3 raids in a row, or spend some starpieces for a stardust boost. I don't see any problem

They will probaby rotate, January XP, Febuary Stardust, March XP and so on. You can schedule 10k hatches, massevolutions, lucky egg and starpiece use in general.

...''Once a month, we’ll host a Pokémon GO Community Day event starring a special Pokémon, which will appear frequently around the world for just a few hours. When caught during the event, this special Pokémon will know an exclusive move. Other bonuses will be in effect during the event, such as increased XP or Stardust, and Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.''...

Yeah stressful. It's only for 3 hours. Most of the time I'll be working or doing something else that I can't take time out to play a game those specific 3 hours. A longer window of time would be far more enjoyable and flexible to schedule. I like games that I can play on my time rather than games that try to force you play on their time. Many of these I will just have to miss out which is disappointing. I guess those of you that have no life outside of PoGo will see no problem. ;)

Sorry men, i didn't mean to be rude. Most people don't work on saturday where i live, and pokemon go is a terrible game to play at your own time.

I think it's intended for people, especially in rural areas, to go to a park where/when they are most likely to meet other players to be able to do higher tier - and especially legendary - raids. I'm hoping we can get a local chat group organized.

But it will benefit everyone everywhere .... the special mon will be everywhere, XP, lures. It's a start, and unlike EX raids it's not only for the lucky lottery winners.

So, no dust?

Why is it a big deal? You're not missing out on much if you can't play during that time.

Well I work regular Saturdays as do many others, so it's a definite non starter for me. Idea is good in principle, but timeframe is way too short. People like to play in their own time & fit pogo around their daily lives, events like this, and the Ex raids that require you to take time off work if u want to participate are, imo, not the way forward.

Quick question. Will the double xp be available only at the park? Will it be also available if I do raids at other places in the mean time?

Everything (double XP, Pikachu, etc) should be available everywhere. I have to work every other Saturday, so it's not ideal for me either, but it's better than nothing and I'll participate as much as I can.
