What a joke.

s2 cells are your friend. use it. i raided the only 2 qualified gyms within the same cell this week and got my first pass this afternoon. before this i was just raiding tons of sponsered gyms all over the crowded city like a maniac.

You only did 5 raids total in these locations? Maybe that's why.

You know what the joke is? The joke is that they always exclude the gyms I raided in the coming EX pass wave.

Or try living in a town without any gyms eligible for EX raids. No sponsored gyms, no parks, no EX raids until they change the system.

I joined local chat group and catalog what gyms hosted in the past and also use s2 cell information to predict what gym is next. I was able to raid 4 triggered gyms. So far we have 6 passes in my family of 4 accounts. Some gym will host every 4 weeks or 2 weeks.

.·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·. I literally saw my first Mewtwo yesterday, when another player joined me during a Machamp raid. So my compassion for someone missing a week of invites is kind of limited.

Idk about others, but trying to figure out which gym in which S2 cell (or even where those are) might get an EX raid takes much more time and energy than I care to invest.

I'll concéntrate on catching more Kyogre instead.... now that is one fine mon - and much more accessible :D

fell sorry for you again.
For your reference, I read from local forum in HK and notice that ex raid passes are given out from a gym in Kowloon park. The gym is the only one that did not send ex raid pass before.
Maybe you are unlucky again this time. Still need to farm harder.
