Finally got Gardevoir!

Caught two Ralts today (both with Pinaps and immediately sent to professor). Once my 96% Ralts found candy number 179, I evolved her and she got Conf/DG, continuing my recent lucky streak with charge moves.

My current Machamp solo team is as follows (all level 30, A/D/S):

Espeon, Conf/FS, 12/15/14
Alakazam, Conf/FS, 15/15/14
Alakazam, PC/FS, 13/15/15
Exeggutor, Conf/Psyc, 13/14/14
Exeggutor, Conf/Solar, 15/13/15
Dragonite, DT/Hu, 14/14/11

Which Exeggutor should she replace? The one with Solar has higher IVs and would be boosted in the sun (which is common enough here), but Psychic is super-effective.

More importantly, how should I order my attackers for best results? I only try to dodge charge moves, with a very low (25-40%) success rate (lag and Machamp charge moves are just that hard to dodge). Hence beating the clock is easy but survival is hard. Entering again with another six attackers is not an option as the boss regains health.

There are some bugs with the CP calculator on this site. It indicates that powering up a level 22 Gardevoir to level 30 requires 56 candy (which is correct), but evolving a level 22 Ralts and powering up the Gardevoir to level 30 requires 181 candy. I managed to do so with 179 candy, as one candy is returned after evolution. Furthermore, the buddy distance is stated as unknown KM.

When I started walking Ralts, I expected that by the time I finished walking her, I would have a Beldum or Bagon to take over. Of course, I do not, so who should I walk in the meantime?

Larvitar: Already walked 450km to get and power up my only Tyranitar (with Bite/Crunch). Current candy count is 16 after hatching a 12/15/15 Larvitar, so this will take a very long time. In Singapore, legendary raids are very frequent and attract large crowds. Getting enough people for a Tyranitar raid requires luck and patience. Only tried thrice and was successful once, but failed to catch the Tyranitar.

Chansey: Already walked 200km to power up my only Blissey (ZH/DG). 29 candy left. Candy could be used to power up (or even evolve) a level 20 Chansey (I have two). In Singapore, gyms are so active that even spoofers have to work hard for every coin and Golden Razzberry feeding is prevalent.

Mareep: 90 candy so far, from two catches (during double-stardust event) and four hatches. Hitmontop and Unown are the only other missing entries in my Gen II Dex (excluding regionals, legendaries and Smeargle). Furthermore, Ampharos is a decent gym defender.

Eevee: My second Espeon has Psybeam and 8/15/14, but Eevee has suddenly become uncommon and I keep catching crap ones. My only wonders are level 25 (13/10/14), level 20 (13/11/14) and level 13 (15/14/11).

Slakoth: 75 candy (caught 11, all with Pinap) but no wonders so far. Having the fourth Normal-type gym tank would help with coin earning.

Dratini: Used to be easy to farm, but weather changed that. I have three level 30 Dragonites (DT/OR 14/11/15, DT/Hu 14/14/11 and SW/DP 15/13/10), a level 20 Dragonite (SW/HB, 14/13/14), five Dratinis (ranging from 84% to 91%) and 81 candy.

Ralts: Earning enough candies to evolve and power up a second Gardevoir will take much longer if I do not actively hunt them down with SGPokeMap.

Less attractive options include Abra, Lapras, Machop, Tyrogue, Carvanha and Wailmer (I have yet to catch a Feebas).

IVs don't matter that much so remove the solar beam exeggutor. I think you should walk a Larvitar if you had trouble finding people for tyranitar raids, otherwise Dratini (Salamence is meh). Also i had personally did 3 tyranitar raids in singapore and they netted good results.

Perhaps I just unlucky with the location/timing. Once I have more Machamps and Charged TMs, I will put more effort into finding Tyranitar raids.

Psychic is not a great charged move compared to Solarbeam. Solarbeam often performs similarly even against targets weak to Psychic, and that's before the weather boost.

Gardevoir makes a very good attacker and an even better defender. It's not the tankiest but has great typing that stacks well with Blissey gyms and, more importantly, is always fed by others.

Though Gardevoir may seem like an okay idea to have multiples of for gym defense, you really don't need more than one as an attacker. Therefore, I would keep walking it and power it up further, if your trainer level allows. It should be placed in gyms that you need more defended time on that are already full of defenders weak to fighting, such as Blissey.

I fought one yesterday of 3840 CP, it's just meat sitting there doing nothing, firing off just 1 Hyper Beam in the last fraction of a second. I was surprised it actually went down so fast compared to a Blissey.

Yes, it's nothing more than a meme pokemon. It's purpose is to nail you off guard then kill one of your machamps or do huge damage even when it's dodged.

From a brief look at pokebattler, it seems that your Exeggutors are pretty much equal in neutral weather. I'd keep the Psychic one because it's a less risky charge move, but swap in the SoB when weather is clear. Also you should keep both Eggies in favor of Gardevoir if Machamp has double steel moves. When you use Gardevoir, put it 4th.

I'd walk Larvitar in your position. You're going to want that second Tyranitar at some point.
L20 Blissey isn't that good, Ampharos is a dex filler and will come from hatches at some point, you don't need another Espeon and since you're catching Slakoths, there's no need to walk them. For Dragonite, you have enough candy to make a fourth L30 so you're honestly pretty well off there. I don't even remember the last time I needed more than 3 Dragonites for anything.

Thanks for the great advice, especially about my Machamp raid lineup. Buddy changed to Larvitar. I will certainly want a second Tyranitar, even if it takes a year and becomes a lower priority than my first Metagross (and Salamence).

Is Conf/DG Gardevoir useful for soloing Gengar?
