Help me set up my MewTwo battle group

EX raid tomorrow... I don't have a great team... Looking for a top 12 - a battle group and a backup battle group for after the first one faints.

Assume I don't have the candy to power up unless I mention I can. Also assume I can't get anything new and useful before the raid.

I do have 2 Fast TMs and 1 Charge TM that I could use.

Here's what I have that might work... An asterisk(*) indicates a really good option.

LV 35.5/3055 CP W/HP Gyarados (could TM to Crunch)
LV 35/2573CP E/SB Exeggutor
Several more LV 30+ Exeggutor
LV35/1858CP WA/NS Noctowl
LV35/1780CP S/FP Umbreon
*LV34/2699CP C/Shadow Ball Gardevoir
LV33.5/2947CP ZH/BS Snorlax (could TM to Lick...)
LV32/3153CP DT/O Dragonite
*LV30.5/2808CP B/C Gyarados
LV30/2236CP H/SB Gengar (too fragile?)
LV30/609CP Ditto (Maybe against Shadow Ball Mewtwo?)
LV30/2849CP ZH/HB Snorlax (Could TM to LIck)
LV30/3010CP DT/H Dragonite
*LV30/2401CP FC/X-S Scizor
LV30/2887CP FS/OH Entei
*LV30/3131CP B/C Tyranitar (Guaraneed in if not FB)
LV29/1526CP FA/FP Sneasel (Could power up to L30)
LV28/2600CP B/C Gyarados
LV28/1588CP S/FP Umbreon (Could power up to L30)
LV25/2882CP DT/SB Groudon (Could power up to L30)
LV23.5/2458CP B/SE Tyranitar (If I TM it, I might get FB..)
LV20/2051CP IT/C Tyranitar
LV20/2044CP IT/FB Tyranitar

And lastly...
A pair of L32 Seedot and enough candy to evolve them to Nuzleaf. Could get double-dark moveset if lucky, but I was saving the seedot and candy to evolve during the next double XP event...

As I am preparing my team, the best advice I can give: check the weather forecast then check https://www.pokebattler.com/raids with that weather.

For example, with sunny weather Groudon M/S and Moltres F/O are among the top counters for Mewtwo. While with rainy weather, bugs, Raikou, and Gyarados B/H are among the top counters.

I wholly recommend Pokebattler like pipjay does. My sister (lv27 trainer) got an Ex-pass a while back and her only clear choices were two B/C Tyras. She also had a B/HP Gyarados but it turned out that her Entei and RT/SE Golem would perform better according to the sims.

The Mew2's moveset was C/SB and my sister's Tyras lasted ages (the higher was lv~24, the other was 20). Her trainer level was third lowest from the group of ten but she still got +2 balls for damage.

For your team I would say...
- Against non-FB, your Tyras will wreck the poor Mew2's face. You can fill the rest of the team with just about anything on that list (see next point for examples).
- Against FB, your Tyras will probably fall victim to the dodge glitch but you do have some sweet backup. Gardevoir, Dragonite and Gyarados resist FB and Scizor & Entei will do fine as well.
- Also, hope that the Mew2 doesn't have C/FB. Confusion hits REALLY hard, but Tyras don't care. PC/FB on the other hand doesn't pose that big of a threat to your backup mons.

Unless you have a really small group, your first team doesn't faint (at least that's my prediction). Tyras take care of Confusion, others take care of Focus Blast, hope the Mew2 doesn't have both.

Also, W/HP Gary does okay with its high neutral damage and doesn't need TM. Besides, cTM isn't guaranteed to give Crunch, Outrage is the other possibility.
Gengar is way too glassy if the Mew2 has Confusion. Not sure about Psycho Cut, though.

Ps. Congrats for the pass! You know, I'm not really jealous at all for your Ex-pass, but wanna know what I'm extremely jealous for? Your Gardevoir and Entei! :D

About that lv30.5 Gyarados with B/C... are its IVs 15a/13d/13s? At least that would result in 2808 cp. If that's the case you should consider powering it up once to level 31. He/she would reach a breakpoint for Bite, bumping its damage from 5 to 6.

Yes, it does have 15ATK. Maybe I'll spend tonight looking for a Magikarp so I can power it up.... Out of Karp candy...

And yes, the Gardevoir is nice. I was about to TM it to Dazzling Gleam, then I got the EX pass, and figured I should wait.

Very good analysis in my opinion. As for Gengar I checked the breakpoints and powered up my two Gengars for the upcoming EX raid.
There is a really nice defensive breakpoint at lvl 33-34 which makes a huge difference. Confusion deals only 33 instead of 34 damage while Gengar hits 100 - 101 HP so he will survive 3 confusions with 1 or 2 HP. And there is also an offensive breakpoint in that area for shadow claw. I will give it a try with those two Gengars, three Ttars and a Houndoom.

Best way is to divide up your teams (Using the Battle Party function) by Mewtwo's movesets, and then factor in weather the day of. You should be able to predict the weather in advance using something like AccuWeather.

Few things to think about
- Even against Focus Blast, B/Cr TTar is very good. Use Charged Moves asap
- Survivability is no longer a huge issue, especially in a race against the clock, so ignore seemingly effective options such as Umbreon and Snorlax
- Ditto doesn't take on Raid Boss's HP so it will die quickly

Good luck!
