If you fail an EX raid, do you get to try again?

I want to go in the first time using a Blissey to find out it's charge move, but we only get one shot, that might be a bad idea...

You can try again as long as there's still time on the raid timer, just like any other raid.

If you fail to catch it, get ready to uninstall your game. Otherwise, you can retry if you fail the battle.

If you can't tell judging by the auto selected team then I don't know what to tell you.

How does that really help?

If it has Shadow Ball, it's going to recommend Tyranitar/Dark Types.
If it has Hyper Beam, it's going to recommend Tyranitar.
If it has Psychic, it's going to recommend Tyranitar/Dark Types.

Not sure what it will recommend for Focus Blast, but I wouldn't put it past them to still recommend Tyranitar...

I'd rather be sure by sending in a Blissey alone and see the charge move for myself.

If it has focus blast tyranitar or other dark types will not be there at all.

I'm with you. For example, it'll show me TTars either way, but I'm not going to use my Lugia if it knows Shadow Ball.

You should have figured out the moves by seeing the recommended squad.

The autoselect lineup will give you an idea of the boss's moveset, but yes, you can go in ahead of time to determine the moveset, then back out and go in again. Just make sure the other people there will wait for you before they start the actual raid.

Or use Gymhuntr or Pokehunter to determine the moveset before going in, unless that offends your sensibilities. Not sure if these work for EX raids, but will test tomorrow when I do my first one.

I just assumed that wouldn't work - I figured the bot has to have an EX Pass to find out what the moveset is. I could be wrong though - I'll try it.

As I know gymhuntr.com did not work to determine the moveset of the normal raids neither Ex-raid. I tried pokehunter.co (not pokehuntr.com) and it worked fine.
