I have a L35, 80% (14/14/08), Pound/Play Rough Wigglytuff. She really has very high TDO against Gyarados and especially Dragonite.

I was surprised by Wigglytuff's performance even against SW Dragonite. Play Rough really hurts Dragonite.

I just evolved another L35 Jigglypuff, and got a FA/PR Wigglytuff. How well does this moveset perform? How do the DG sets complete to PR? And does Pound/Hyperbeam have any use for Wiggly?

How well does Wigglytuff perform on defence? Low DEF and high HP allows her to get off lots of charge moves. But how good actually is Wiggly as a defender?

Also, can someone please update the Wigglytuff page? It's seriously outdated.

I throw all my Wigglytuffs around 1600 CP into gyms with low turnover or after my blisseys and snorlaxes are in gyms already. They are pretty annoying to fight. On offense I dont see any real use for them.

As a defender I think it still has merit because of the low CP and low decay factor. However, Gardevoir with confusion sounds far more punishing, but I know I'd be annoyed if I'm up against a wiggly.

As an attacker, not so much. Way better options from the fairy side (gardevoir) and it is lacking damage compared to other tanks who also happen to be tankier (snorlax, lugia, etc.)

FA/PR Wigglytuff is a good counter to SB Mewtwo, it also performs well against Dragonite, on par with Pound.

I would say that a base attack 156 mon with a SE non-STAB quick move and a non-SE STAB charge move is not a good counter, even with a double resistance to the boss's charge move. Even neutral Flareon and Exeggutor are better ideas.

Wigglytuff is not too great as a defender. Unfortunately it's normal type which takes away its resistance to fighting and isn't that tanky due to its low defence. Wiggly is faster to take down and deals less damage to Machamp than Steelix.

Wiggly and Steelix have similar attack stats, but Wiggly has fairy-type charge moves that deal SE STAB damage to Machamp. Steelix has no counter-coverage moves against Machamp.
