Exeggutor vs Sceptile

I have an Exeggutor (E/SoB) and Sceptile (FC/LB), both at level 30 with identical IVs. I'm going to eventually power both of them up, maybe to max, but I'm trying to decide which to prioritize.

Pokebattler (assuming I'm using it correctly) seems to list Sceptile as a better option against Kyogre. So I'm leaning that way. Is there something I'm missing?

They will be fairly close. SoB has a long cast time that will be dicey if you are on the edge of fainting. Eggy is a little stronger and tankier. I prefer multibar moves against raid bosses in general.

Sceptile should have a better DPS i most scenarios regardless of dodging style/not dodging.

Many players don’t like the feeling of glass cannons getting KO fast though.

Also If you have several decent eggys and/or If you already have 4 or 5 good counters its probably not worth the dust.

Sceptile dies to dodge glitch for everything while Exeggutor has bulk to survive, so exeggutor.

Agreed - sceptile is awesome but for lvl 3 solos (omastar) where the dodge glitch isn't an issue. Against legendary raid bosses, def go w exeggutor.

Yeah. I just got hit with the dodge glitch with it. Probably going with eggy.
