I tried a solo attempt as well against a boosted C/HS. I also experienced a bug. My first six Pokemon fainted around 40 seconds to go. When I went on to rejoin with my 2nd party the Machamp suddenly had almost twice as much health as before the rejoin. So I guess it didn't register all damage contributed.
Weather boosted Machamp
Counter/DP, it output way too much damage! Even with dodging, my whole team (2 Alakazams, 2 Clefables, 1 Espeon and 1 Gengar) fainted around the 90 seconds mark! Lol DP was already very strong, with weather boosts, it just hits like a truck. Of course I failed the attempt because I didn't prepare another team.

Same exact thing happened to me. I fainted, rejoined, found that machamp had regained a decent chunk of health. I still would have won except that the raid ended 5 seconds early. That was after the first attempt the whole game became unresponsive with 40 seconds left in an attempt that was most definitely going to be successful.
This is probably why some power up a Ho-Oh, to act as a makeshift Lugia. Recently, I did a cloudy C/DP Machamp:
3314 Mewtwo c/ShB, 3000 Mewtwo PC/ShB, 2511 Espeon C/FS, 3213 Dragonite DT/H, 2448 Alakazam PC/FS, 3177 Lugia EX/SA.
No dodging, beat it with 28 seconds left and clock started at 175, my lugia would have fainted with one more DP.
Weather boosted C/DP is no joke, took 7 high level high powerefed mons to take down:
Lv 35 C/DG Gardevior
Lv 31 C/P MewTwo
Lv 40 C/FS Espeon
Lv 31.5 C/FS Espeon
Lv 30.5 C/FS Espeon
Lv 40 DT/O dragonite
Rejoin with
Lv 32 C/P Espeon
And I still finished with 19s.
Has anyone had issues when trying to rejoin with a second team? I was trying to solo a C/FB Alakazam in cloudy weather and expectedly I was fainting out with lots of time left but when I’d try and scroll over to my second team the app would crash. Needless to say I failed the solo, between crashes and lag I don’t know if I was even close.
