1 time used Pokemons ..

Previously i asked about how save potions and as a rural player and limited pokestops i used various Pokemon's on gym offence and find few surprises..
For gym offence i have few common pokemons with 1000+ candy and easy to obtain high levels..

1.pidgeotto -mass evolve pidgey finally used in gym offence ..
2. Dodrio - with high attack stat and nice charge moves
3. Golduck - water biome ..easy to obtain and wg/confusion
4. Seaking - same water biome
5. Stramie - hidden power / hp ..very useful
6. Kingler - heavy attack stat but lack of good moves but still useful - water biome give me 5000+ krabby candy
7. Rapidash - ignore bcz of high stat fire mons.but useful when u have to used it once ..fire glass cannon
8. Noctowl - surprisingly best yet - with extrasensory - sky attack ..easy to get and survive long battle
9. Sneasel- save high iv /cp for gen 4 and rest of them can used against dragonite
10. Jynx - best to counter for dragonite .. with ice fairy moves .. and psy for normal type
11. Murkrow - hard to believe but that is useful bcz of its 1000+ cp
12 . Psudowoodo - same as murkrow but rock covering
13. Xatu - with future sight it's useful
14. Pinsir - bug moves not useful but fight moves ..yes
15. Granbull- finally first time used with snarl and play rough and saw quiet strong against dragonite and with close combat its useful against normal types
16. Gen 3 not useful yet but breloom , magnetric useful

I have huge candy stack of this pokemons and will never use it anyway .. and half of them dont have evolution yet ..

Plz suggest what is ur 1 time useful pokemon?

I was constantly out of healing items back when the old gym system and absurd turnover rate required fighting about 200 battles just to get 30 coins, so I used to do that with every pokemon I caught or evolved that was decent enough to be of some use in a fight before I transferred it. That was almost anything of a fairly high level, but Pidgeotto, Raticate, and Furret were the ones I used most frequently.

Eventually, the dodge glitch made that extremely frustrating and nearly impossible to do, and later the new gym system made it unnecessary anyway, so it's been a long time since I used throwaway attackers. I still get more potions and revives than I ever use now, but just about anything over 1000 CP ought to be able to win a fight or two.

Yep. In the early days before I had better mons, I would use 3 pidgeotto for dragon and 2 raticate for attacking Snorlax. Raticate and Furret also good for prestiging and then toss.

Currently use disposable defenders 60% of the time and disposable attackers 5% or less.

Xatu – useful when windy
Wigglytuff – despite still taking much damage from a fully motivated Dragonite, it has the stamina to back up
Machamp – anyways I normally use Tyranitar to attack Blisseys lol
Pidgeot – yes, useful, Hurricune is one of the best flying moves in the game

I find Azumarill a very good 1 time pokemon, good moves and nice typing.

Jigglypuff and Marill were really common here during cloudy weather, which is the most common weather here. Marill was the most common 25-candy evolution mon, so many players here use them as mass evolution fodder.

But the event has diluted their spawns now. I hope they come back after the event.

I do that too, but I only use the Hydropump ones as attackers. Play Rough and Ice Beam ones become 1 time defenders instead.

But sometimes teammates refuse to feed my Pokemon when someone attacks the gym, while feeding all the other 5. They really need to fight an Azumarill defender to understand! But most Azumarill defenders are placed by my team (yellow), blue and red rarely place them in gyms.

This is what most people do with trash mons: Let them drop, feed the rest of the mons, and slot in 10 minutes later. I've done that with a spoofer's Murkrow before.

The gym system in Singapore is much more challenging than mine i guess. Sometimes it takes 10 days before my mons return... And take this gym for example, 91 wins 57+ days defended

I usually farm at least 50-100 pokemon in a day. I keep +1000 cp ones and use them in gyms if i want to save potions.

Out of your list Jynx and Pinsir are actually ones you should be keeping and not transferring if they are high level and have a good moveset (double ice, double bug), due to their future use. Jynx is top DPS against Rayquaza, Pinsir is top DPS against Celebi.
