Nope, it doesn’t matter, if in PGo move effects existed, like Heavy Slam’s effect damage based on the opponents weight, then weight would matter, however, pokemon’s size has always been irrelevant

In Pokemon Go, size only matters for the small Rattata and large Magikarp badges. Everywhere else, it is just flavor text.
