Highest CP Encounter

What's the highest CP Pokémon you've ever seen in the wild? Weather-boosted Pokémon are also included, as well.

If I remember correctly, my encounter was around a 2721 CP Snorlax, which I believe happened during the Halloween event. Sadly, it got away from me after breaking out twice.

I'm not sure about encounter but the highest I've caught was a 1541 Jynx during the fire and ice event.

I've not done awesome with Jynx, don't live in the biome, but I got a 1785 and a 1962 yesterday (15a) continuing to search for a better one, 1962 born with Draining kiss

Caught a 64% Lv 30 jynx three days ago CP2039 Frost Breath/Psyshock

My strongest catch was a weather boosted Snorlax 2785 CP two weeks ago! My other highest catches were Snorlax 2583cp (3 days after) and Blissey 2411cp last month.

Also caught a 2234cp Jynx all within the last 30 days.

2904 CP Dragonite. Crap IVs but came with Dragon Tail + Outrage. Still hardly use it though.

That's crazy. If the IVs were higher, the Dragonite could have been above 3000 CP!

I caught a 19xx Gyarados back when I only had one of them, had a lure going and it appeared. It is 2875 now. Never encountered a Dragonite and even couldn't land a wild Charizard I once saw.

Nice! I've only seen a wild Gyarados twice, but the CP and IVs were low when I caught them. Sorry to hear about that Charizard.

My strongest catch was a weather boosted tyranitar 3317CP and 78% IV.

A 2572 CP Snorlax.

The highest I recall is a 2600 Vaporeon. Also a 23xx Snorlax that got buffed to ~2500, and a 2470 Lapras that got nerfed to 21xx.

Awesome! That Vaporeon saved you the trouble of spending a lot of stardust and candies!

2214 Pinsir, not boosted.

Got a 2375(55% lv34) & 2274(91% lv29) both boosted double bug Pinsirs.

Caught while in bed at home... Donphan CP 2590 lvl 30. 15/15/15

2926 Snorlax weather boosted 67%iv lv33

Also caught weather boosted rhyhorn that evolved 3k+ rhydon.

3064 weather boosted Snorlax.

2931 Dragonite. This might be the best reported value here that was not weather boosted. Level 30, 5s/12a/11d, and CTMd to DT/O. Very useful, given the minimal investment (1 Ultra ball, 1 Golden Razzie, and three power-ups to level 31.5 and CP 3004).

Good catch bro but I found a bigger one. I catched a tyranitar cp 3004 iv 6s/12a/9d level 30 that was not weather boosted. It was before the weather update. I just had to use 2 TMs to turn him usefull.

My biggest find was a 29xx Dragonite.

It was only Impressive/really strong, so I transferred it.

If it was my first dragon I likely would have cherished it forever. As fate would have it I had already maxed out three wonder hatches. The main reason I sent um tobtye chopping block was the stupid auto select would always pick that one instead of one of the three that were 500+ cp higher.

In don't care how it works. There is no reason whatsoever to use a 2900 dragon with steel wing when you have 3 3500s with dragon tail.

Mine best catch ever was a 82% IV lvl 30 Dragonite at 3008 cp early this autumn (not weather boosted of course).

I do not use scanners so this was really a once-and-only catch. Did not look at nearby, was waiting for the bus and just walk round the block to spin stops when I ran into him. :-)

I powered him up and use him in my dragonite team now, a nice addition.
