If they rereleased Gen 1 and 2 thru random eggs, would your time to win be that much better?

I probably would use the exact same Golems, same 5 Rhydons and 1 Groudon. Maybe Gyarados here or there vs Entei. Raikou and some better Jolteons along with some better Tyranitars against Lugia. Guess Moltres for Articuno. How much better would you do?

Articuno: I can TM stone edge ttars to get iron Tail, along with my weather boosted Flareons. Would've been a level 30 fire squad otherwise. Would see a respectable gain.

Moltres: Only one maxed golem now, was 6 level 30s then. Wouldnt change much.

Zapdos: As above

Lugia: Two maxed ttars, 3 level 30s and four maxed dragons would make a considerable improvement here. Was a 2-3 level 30 ttar squad in the past slotted with some bite gyarados.

Entei: Didn't actually raid it, but the WF gyarados defo pulls ahead of my dragonite or vape squads.

Suicune: One maxed raikou and one maxed exeggutor would help out a lot more now, used predominantly L30 squads

Raikou: Would still use the same Rhydon team. Haven't powered up any since then.

At least for me, the biggest factor would be whether it was partly cloudy to enhance Golem rock moves. That and my eyeball test rates the bottom charge button as easier/more efficient than the double full bar charge move I used to see.

I was on hiatus during the legendary bird period, so I would gladly power up a second Rhydon (though Groudon with MS/EQ is much better) and a second Golem for them. Would love to use my two WF/HP Gyaradoses on Moltres.

Rhydon's supreme purpose is to fight Raikou...Groudon a bit better against Raikou, but thinking what else it would be good at: does great against Entei but vs Lugia, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, Suicune, Ho-Oh...not an option. Main lesson, if I see another 1000+ Geodude hold on to it. I was looking for a 87%+, so I discarded a few high level boosted geodudes

Slipped my mind that Rhydon is not viable against Zapdos. In fact, I hardly use my only level 30 Rhydon. The teams that I would use are listed below.

Moltres: Two Gyarados (WF/HP), two Golem (RT/SE and RT/RB), one Vaporeon (WG/HP) and one Rhydon (MS/SE)

Zapdos: Two Golem (RT/SE and RT/RB), one Groudon (MS/EQ), one Dragonite (DT/OR), one Rhydon (MS/SE) and one Jynx ()

Articuno: One Entei (FS/OH), one Flareon (FS/OH), two Golems (RT/SE and RT/RB), plus...to be honest, my current attackers are ill-equipped for Articuno, so I may have to get Moltres and Zapdos first or use a spare Arcanine/Charizard.

Lugia: Tyranitar (Bite/Crunch), Raikou (TS/WC), two Golems (RT/SE and RT/RB) and two Dragonites (DT/OR and DT/Hu).

Back in the day we were trying not to faint. When we did faint autoselect would pick Vaporeon against Articuno, Golems were pretty fragile. Even though it doesn't matter much anymore, I would just throw 2 fire and 2 golems after my 3114 and 2899 Raikou.

I loved fighting FS Lugia, I had 5 level 30 Tyranitars...Now I have a perfect max B/C, a 93% level 34, then 5 more level 30s. Guess Raikou would be the best against Lugia hydropump, that was the toughest legendary to beat so far.

Zapdos and Moltres didn't seem that tough, now it would be just a little easier with the new charge button--I'd use the same Golems
