Is this team good enough to solo Machamp?

(Attack Defense HP)

1. Alakazam 14, 15, 11 2345 CP Psycho Cut/ Future Sight
2. Espeon 15, 14, 15 2181 CP Confusion/ Psychic
3. Espeon 12, 12, 13 1797 CP Zen Headbutt/ Psychic
4. Exegutter 14, 14, 13 2429 CP Extrasensory/ Seed Bomb
5. Exegutter 15, 10, 14 2089 CP Bullet Seed/ Solar Beam
6. Ho-Oh 12, 11, 15 2726 CP Steel Wing/ Fire Blast

I'm only level 28, but my goal is to solo Machamp. Do you think this team can do it?

Your Hooh should use E+BB. SW is a wrong choice to against Machamp.

That's a good point, but it probably won't be enough. At your level I wouldn't advise using TM's on Ho-Oh.

For now you are better off waiting for a cloudy day and try to battle a boosted Machamp with another raider. Your Exeggutor with seed bomb needs a charge TM. Your Exeggutor BS/SoB needs a fast TM. Both your Espeons are not high enough level and lack future sight. Your Ho-Oh might survive a little while but Solar or Bravebird would be better. I would look for someone else to raid with and keep on collecting stardust, candy and TMs

I'll probably power up my Espeons to 2400 and make those changes. But once I make the changes, do you think I will be able to do it by myself?

You need to power your players up, even then it would be very helpful if the raid boss had close combat or your psychic attackers miraculously got a weather bonus. DPS + surviving--many of us say Machamp is easy b/c we have Lugia/Mewtwo/Dragonites and we now can catch level 35 eevees and flip them to Espeons. Just play and save, especially wait until you get to level 30 before investing much

The Espeons don't *need* Future Sight, but it is the stronger move. All of Espeon's movesets can - in theory - defeat Machamp within the time limit at level 30.

If you're lacking in the TM department use your TMs on Pokemon that have a larger benefit from having their move changed.

The Exeggutor with Seed Bomb is the perfect example because it's got a simulated time above 180s, and you're guaranteed a better move from one TM - either Psychic or Solar Beam - whereas using a TM on the Espeon you could get Psybeam which is worse.

Your Pokemon just need to be higher level. A low level Pokemon even with the optimal moveset is still not going to complete the raid in time, while a high level Pokemon can still complete raids even with some suboptimal movesets.

As for how high level they should be, that depends on quick move breakpoints, which there is a calculator on this site.
https://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/breakpoint-calculator#/
This will show you at what levels your Pokemon will gain a boost in quick move damage which will help you decide how much to invest into your Pokemon. Any further power ups between breakpoints have a negligible impact on your Pokemon's effectiveness.

For comparison, my first successful Machamp solo was done with the following team:

Level 30 Alakazam (15 15 14) with Confusion / Future Sight
Level 30 Alakazam (13 15 15) with Psycho Cut / Future Sight
Level 30 Espeon (12 15 14) with Confusion / Future Sight
Level 30 Exeggutor (15 13 15) with Confusion / Solar Beam
Level 30 Exeggutor (13 14 13) with Confusion / Psychic
Level 30 Dragonite (14 14 11) with Dragon Tail / Hurricane

The Machamp had Close Combat (which is much easier than Dynamic Punch or Heavy Slam) but was weather-boosted. A similar team, all at level 28, can probably solo a Machamp with Close Combat in non-cloudy weather (windy is best). If your city has a raid map, use it to identify and stick to Machamps with Close Combat.

At level 28, you have much less leeway with dodging skills and attacker moves. For example, Exeggutor with Bullet Seed is good for soloing Omastar, but useless against Machamp. An anchor still needs to do enough damage, so Ho-Oh will struggle with Steel Wing and Fire Blast.

I'm quite sure you're not ready yet, even during a windy weather, it takes time to build a solo machamp squad. I think you will have to make your glass cannons level 30 and make sure your espeons have future sight.

To low in mons level and wrong moveset
I am not using program like pokebattler, etc, i just eye balling when doing power up, for me it is way more simple
So i start by power it up until it needs 5000 Stardust, and test it, and see what mon in my team need more power up, them i power em up till 6000 and test it again and doing it again
Sure i lost many raid pass when i first started, but its ok for me, part of the game i think.
After that i still power up some of my team, not because i need it but because for me it is fun, and can help me when i am doing a unique challeng solo tier 3 raid.
As for your mons no 1,2,3 still can get away with that moveset, but you must power it up more
Exeggutor too low in level and no good CM (Seed Bomb) and the other no good FM (Bullet Seed) for soloing Machamp
For HoOH, i cant help much, but i think that moveset is also not good for Machamp, but i am not using legendaries for soloing tier 3 atleast up until now, so i dont know much about how they will perform

Overall I'd say you're falling short in terms of sheer raw power, and some moves need to be adjusted as explained earlier. I use the following team:

1. Espeon 13/13/13 2523CP Confusion/Future Sight
2. Alakazam 15/15/12 2607CP Psycho Cut/Future Sight
3. Alakazam 15/14/13 2449CP Psycho Cut/Future Sight
4. Alakazam 13/11/13 2414CP Psycho Cut/Future Sight
5. Alakazam 14/10/12 2407CP Psycho Cut/Future Sight
6. Lugia 15/14/12 3136CP Extrasensory/Future Sight

I beat Close Combat Machamps with more than 30 seconds left, Dynamic Punch with 15-20 seconds left and Heavy Slam with roughly 5-10 seconds left.

The 13/11/13 Alakazam will be replaced by a 100% Alakazam that I still need to power up.
