My first Mewtwo experience (Christmas Day)

Just a quick report
- Level 39 Mystic (Silver Gym badge - McDonald's, Japan)
- Free to play (6k km+ Walked, 30k+ catches, 1600 hatches)

TL;DR - I got it! :D

Was super excited that I received my first EX Pass even if it was on Christmas Day. I guess it is lucky that Christmas is just a regular work day here in Japan, and my Raid was scheduled in the afternoon.

I had a relatively light work schedule that day so I was able to occasionally check in on the game to see what the Gym control situation was (I can visually see it since it's close to my office).

Turnover is normally high here but seemed even more so that day. Thankfully, it turned to Blue about 2 hours before the Raid start. I contributed about 30 Golden Berries to help with the cause and even managed to slip in a Chansey into the last spot when one fell out! lol

The Raid itself was quick in a full Raid Group (Mystic retained majority with 10 players). I guessed correctly that it had Focus Blast since none of my TTars were selected, but I still went in with my Lvl 35 Gengar (SC/SBall) and TTars (best was Lvl 38 Dark). I only used 3 Mons before Mewtwo was beaten with about 200 seconds to go.

I got a Fast TM, but most disappointingly, I got a 0 for Damage Bonus! I couldn't believe it! I blame dodge glitches from the Focus Blast...

Anyways, I got 9 balls. My heart started pounding as 6 of my first throws were Excellent Curves (similar to Machamp, distance-wise) and it broke out of them almost instantly... Thankfully, I caught it on my 7th throw - Mewtwo 84% (12/12/14) - HURRAY!

I have promptly powered it up to Level 32 and plan to use it in Raids with C/SBall

Summary:
- Beating Mewtwo is easy - don't overspend
- Hope you don't deal with C/FB
- Retaining Gym control might be a big issue for you so be prepared to help out
- Your time will come - let's all be patient
- Good things can come to Free to Play players :)
