Whats your Limit for ivs

In past weeks my limit was 98 sometimes 96 with 15 attack stat.

But with New lvl cap for wild pokemons im cosinder powering up mons with 91 and higher because of the saved stardust.

What about your limits

91 is the limit, though I get better ones frequently. The exception is 82 for Mewtwo.

Mewtwo is the ultimate exception, how often do you think you`ll run into him?
I maxed my 76% Mewtwo

Probably never. I still won't do it if it has lower IVs. I did not have one for the longest time and didn't need it either. No need to spend resources when the price is spending hard-earned candy on a mediocre (IV) mon.

Ok everyone can play their own way, goes without saying but you should not overestimate IV`s.

Perfect Mewtwo has 315 atk my 76%IV has 13 atk that makes 313 which means dmg wise he will do less then 1% dmg difference, would that really be a game changer in your eyes?

Consider also how hard it is to get, from my standpoint anything less then a Perfect Mewtwo(which would be the greatest trophy) would not outperform my current one or warrant me waiting for who knows how many more months.

Depends on the mon. For example, I don't plan to ever spend dust on a Slaking. I just look for a Slakoth with CP over 800. After evolve, this will give a CP around 4K. My first (and so far only) Slaking has 87% IV's (15/13/11), CP 4109.

Depends on the pokemon, for example, i catch around 3-4 dratini a day so my treshold is 93%+ iv on dratini but i NEVER see a geodude in the wild nor do i hatch them. I've powered up Golems with IVs als low as 78%.

My point, biome is everything

My limit used to be 93. For everything because i'm ultra competitive. I failed to get a T-rex in the 90's despite over 30 t-rex raids which used to annoy me. For mewtwo 84 was the best i got.

Now i'm virtually retired i don't care anymore and don't feel any urge to power anything up. I caught a 91 Groudon, pure luck. Probably won't do another Groudon raid. I caught two trash ho-ohs aswell, if i was still in my competitive mindset i would never touch those again. I didn't catch any Raikous, only attempted one.

Moral of the story is; if you play a lot like i used to you'll have a higher limit than if you play less, or not at all.

Good question you raise. Almost any level 35 with crap iv’s will outperform a perfect level 30, so if it’s purely for battle purposes, I can see taking the opportunity to save dust. On the other hand, if the objective is having trophies, then I’ll wait for the high iv, and in that case it depends on how often I see that type of mon. I can catch geodudes all day long, but rarely ever see dratini’s. As a result, I only power up the two perfect geodudes I’ve caught. But any dratini in the 90’s is fine for me to invest in.

Pretty much my limit is 100% for any non-legendary. For Legendaries i’ll go as low as 91%. At this point in the game I have strong enough teams to accomplish nearly any battle related goal so I don’t need to power stuff up. I can afford to wait until I get a better/higher level mon to evolve.

Before I got to this point my IV cutoff was 84%, & with very rare (such as abra in my biome) I went as low as 71%.

Depends how hard it is for me to get a better one.

Legendary, best 1 or 2, regardless of IV (so far above 90).

Very common ones for me (dratini, machamp, magikarp, ryhorn, eggsecute) 96 or 98%.

Rare ones (snorlax, chansey, lapras) I have powered up several here, at least a year or so ago with IV above 75.

75% with at least 12 attack. But I will usually look for a better one if it is below 90%. The higher the better.

For Pokemon levels above 32, I go as low as 50%.

My IV standards seem to be one of the lowest here.
