When does Groudon end? Next Legendary begin?

I think Groudon ends Jan 15 at 1pm Pacific and Kyogre will, at latest, will be released then but probably a bit earlier maybe around New Years.

I hope Kyogre takes much longer that that to appear

Unlikely, the image with the water/ice event featured a Kyogre

Gen3 has eight legendary pokemon and two mythical pokemon. They could do one a month and still last through the summer.

Each generation has more legends. Not likely they will ever take any significant breaks from T5 raids.
