How to spend 2,300 pokecoins?

OK - I'm L37, and until now only used my free 50/100 pokecoins per day.

But, I got a slew of 'em for a holiday gift.

The first thing I did was max out my bag and pokemon storage. Did that.

Now, I have 2,300 left. What is the best way to spend them?

My first thought was premium raid passes - I've never used a premium raid pass before. But, I feel buying one now would be a ripoff - just last week they were offered in boxes - 6 of em for 480 coins. Now, they're 100 coins each...

I've spent a lot of coin in the past on egg incubators, which is a good, albeit boring investment.

I don't see much benefit in the other options. At L37, a lucky egg doesn't meaningfully get me closer to L38, and I catch mons easily already without lures or incense.

Holiday Gift Boxes coming out today I think. So, wait to see what they have to offer. I only use coins to buy premium raid passes, and on some occasion incubators.

Buy special boxes depending on what you need the most.

These new boxes supposedly have Stardust-boosting items. How does that sound?

sounds uncertain. assuming it comes as a 30-minute window, it could be a nice boost if you can coordinate with several egg hatches.

There's going to be special boxes in the upcoming event, so wait for the boxes before spending any coins. Since you don't want lucky eggs, your other options for consumables are incubators, star pieces or raid passes.

I don't find much use in incubators anymore. Previously I'd stock up on 10k eggs then incubate them all at once, and do a lucky egg spree when they were about to hatch but the extra XP isn't significant or necessary at higher levels, and unless you've got the money to be constantly running incubators, buying a few incubators won't make that much of a difference to your stardust in my opinion, you get a set amount of hatches and therefore a set amount of stardust (within a range).

So that leaves star pieces or raid passes. Even if you do have a lot of stardust, that doesn't mean you won't need more in the future. It's much easier to burn through stardust maxing out Pokemon than it is to farm it - levelling Pokemon from 20 to 40 costs 225k dust.

On the other hand if you're picky about what you power up, more raid passes gives you more chances of getting that perfect / near-perfect legendary that you consider to be worth maxing, as well as more chance of being invited to an EX raid.

Even if you're not going to use them all up immediately you're going to use them eventually if you're a frequent raider, so it makes more sense to buy a little more than you need until the next sale, than not enough and end up having to pay full price for one later on.

If you need Dranini , Larvitar candies, you can buy incubators and hatch 10k egges!if 50 cents can get you 27-32 those candies (double candy event 54 ), that will worth it!
If you like More than 1/day legendary raid, you can buy premium raid passes! This comes with rare candies, TMs, also very much worth it!
You can always wait for a deal to do it!

Wait until you have something you want...just because you have the coins doesn't mean you need to look for something to spend them on.
At some point, there will be something you want...and hopefully the coins are still there when you want them.
