Espeon evolution
If I walk 5km with an Eevee and collect 1 candy, change buddy, then change back to the Eevee and walk another 5km and collect another candy, and evolve it in the day, will it become Espeon?

The Espeon rules are finicky. At least twice, I've thought my Eevee would qualify, and it turned into something else. The last time was during a double candy event, perhaps Halloween. It was only 2.5km for one candy, so I walked it for ~8km, and earned three candies. Then, the event ended, and the buddy distance changed to 5km, and I continued walking it for about another 3km, at which point the progress showed 3.5/5km until the next candy. So, at that point, I had walked it for ~11km consecutively, and earned three candies. I evolved it, and it turned into a Flareon or Jolteon or something, and not the Espeon I wanted. I assume if I had completed the last 5km, for a total of 12.5km and four candies, I would have gotten the Espeon.
I guess my point is if you really want it to be an Espeon, don't take any chances.
No it will not. U have to walk 10km consecutively and earn 2 candy. After that u can unbuddy it and pick another buddy. But to get espeon it has to be ur buddy at the time of evolve during the day in-game. So if u get 10km at night, u can switch to another eevee and walk that so u don't waste km u walk at night.
If u want video proof, prodigiesnation does it on his channel. He walked a eevee over 10km and unbuddy it. He buddies the eevee during the day after previously walked 10km and turns into espeon. What I would if I were u is walk 10.0plus km and switch out if u get it at night. Walk next eevee til 10km and if its day u can evolve that one and buddy the other eevee and evolve it too. If u reach 10km at night again walk another eevee til u get 10km. Or u could just walk them and save them for later but make sure it's ur buddy at the time of evolve.
