Not according to my simulations. A lvl 30 eggy with BS/SoB is the second best moveset after C/SoB against groudon. Did you use windy weather by any chance?

Bullet seed is really only better if the other mon is weak to grass and it's sunny out then it come out ahead. Seed bomb is good if you can get 4 of more in but couldn't get 2 Solar beams in.

Bullet seed generates energy faster than confusion, at 12.73 EPS vs. Confusion's 9.38. This will allow you get get Solar Beam off sooner, and possibly lead to an extra attack with SB that you wouldn't get with Confusion or Extrasensory. And isn't the point of using Eggy to fire off Solar Beams?

Cycle Damage per second confirms this. Bullet seed trails Confusion and Extrasensory against neutral foes, but takes a small lead (with most of the damage coming from Solar Beam) against stuff weak to Grass, and absolutely crushes the other quick moves against stuff doubly weak to grass.

In the same way, Ho-Oh does better neutral damage with Steel Wing, but if the foe is weak to the charged attack, Extrasensory gives more cycle damage per second.
