How fast can you beat 3k+ Gyarados?

Good to know, can you do the same experiment against Vaporeon?
I am tempted a bit to power up my 98% Jolteon eventually (sitting on 600k+ dust) and if it helps a lot more against Vaps, it'd be an easier sell to do it...(it's level 10).
Already have a few other Jolteons of course and Eevee's are very common for me so it'd be more of a dust thing (which I am hoarding as is already).
I think a thunderbolt jolteon does it best- a thunder jolteon can only cast thunder one (before gyarados is taken out) and you'll be forced to use the garbage thunder shock for the rest of the match.
Dragonite usually does better than other top tier pokemon but a double weakness probably helps Jolteon do it quicker here.
