When did you know it was legacy?

My son got me to pick up this game so we could play together in April, so I wasn't around for the move changes or nerfs back in Gen 1. How or when did you know for certain that a move had become legacy? Thanks in advance!

So at least I'm in the right place, huh? Does Game Press have some kind of list they make or will I pretty much find out from following this board?

We have run dry on new topics here, if something changes in regards to moves and/or the math/multipliers it'll be discussed at length. Nothing has changed in that department for months, which is why many expect alterations soon.

I read very often, post very rarely. I hadn't seen anything about this, so I figured I'd try to see what the experience was last time around from the players that were active. Thanks for the reply.

At the top of each page you can click the button that says Pokemon to go to a list of all pokemon or in the search bar type in a specific pokemon's name. On each pokemon's page, its information is listed, including its current and legacy moves and usually rankings for possible movesets.

It is generally a good idea to compare different rankings before making any major decisions for powering up or using TMs. Two other good sources are http://www.pogomoves.com and https://www.pokebattler.com/raids

When there are changes to the moves that are available, they will discussed on this message board and at https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad and probably https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemongo and many other sites.

Besides the Gamepress list....

If you search for particular moves on pogomoves.com and the moveset is legacy, it shows up in red and if you mouseover, it tells you the date it became legacy.
