No New Moves for Gen 2?
With no new moves found in the datamine, what possible charge moves could they give pokemon such as Scizor so they don't end up a mess, like Kingler. I would assume Metal Claw to be the ideal quick move, but there's currently no good Steel type charge move in the game. The same goes for Espeon and Umbreon. Confusion and Feint Attack are both pretty slow for attacking.

There will be no new moves for Gen 2 because we already have them. Bullet Punch/Cross chop/Megahorn/ Shadow ball etc etc, they are all gen 2 moves.
Most logical options imo are :
Espeon: Confusion + Psychic (cant learn Psycho cut, RIP)
Umbreon: Feint Attack + Dark Pulse
Tyranitar: Bite + Stone Edge/EarthQuake/Dark Pulse
Kingdra: Dragon Breath/Water Gun + Dragon Pulse/Hydro Pump
Donphan: Mud Slap + Earthquake
Heracross: Rock Smash + Megahorn/Night Slash/Brick Break
Ampharos: Thundershock + Discharge/Thunder
Blissey: Pound/Zen Headbutt + Hyper Beam/Dazzling Gleam
Houndoom: Fire Fang/Bite + Flamethrower/Dark Pulse/Fire Blast
And i think all of the current pokemon who get a new evolution (Scizor/Steelix/Crobat/Slowking/Porygon2) will keep their pre-evolution moves.
Steel wing for example does not make any sense on Scyther, fits Scizor much better imo. I think he will be stuck with Fury Cutter/Steel Wing which is sad. I do hope im wrong, Scizor always was one of my favs.

Scizor: Fury Cutter/Steel Wing+Bug Buzz/Xscissor/Night Slash
Crobat: Wing Attack/Bite + Poison Fang/Air Cutter/Ominous Wind
Steelix: Tackle/Rock Throw + Iron Head/Rock Slide/Stone Edge
Slowking: Water Gun/Confusion + Psychic/Water Pulse/Ice Beam
Porygon2: Tackle/Zen Headbutt + Signal Beam/Psybeam/Discharge
Typhlosion: Ember + Flamethrower/Fire Blast
Meganium: Razor Leaf + Petal Blizzard/Solar Beam/Body Slam
Feraligatr: Bite/Water Gun + Hydro Pump/Ice Punch/Water Pulse
Granbull: Bite/Lick + Play Rough/Hyper Beam
Forretress: Bug Bite + Flash Cannon/Hyper Beam
Octillery: Water Gun + Ice Beam/Gunk Shot/ Water Pulse
Lanturn: Water Gun/Spark + Discharge/Thunder/Hydro Pump
Ursaring: Lick/Feint Attack + Play Rough/Hyper Beam/Brick Break
Been looking for something like this forever. You sir are a genius. Couldnt agree more, moves like Steel wing and Iron head on Scyther and Onix make absolutely no sense, unless they are there for their new evolutions.

I hope Slowking gets zen headbutt or shadow ball or smth, would be boring if its just Slowpoke/Slowbro copy moveset.
