Eggs management with approach of gen3 release

Why the heck do you have several 10km eggs right after a double-stardust event? I also keep 10km eggs but currently I have none

Play it how you normally would as if there were no Gen 3 coming
Reasoning
1) there is no exactly release date for Gen 3
2) it's unknown what Gen mon will be available in what types of eggs
3) If you really need to clear out your 10k you can always just get an incubator at the time you want to clear them out.
4) Once Gen 3 comes out it will be available forever so it's not like you would feel time pressure to have to get Gen 3 eggs quickly.

irrelevant to me as haven't had a 10km egg in 2 weeks, but play how you would normally play unless it is important to you to gamble on having a day one maxed metagross/salamance.

I think it always makes sense to collect 2km eggs and prioritize hatching 5km eggs, unless you buy a ton of incubators. I like to keep my egg storage in a state that's as easy as possible to clear in case some reason for clearing it does come up. Right now we know Gen 3 is coming at some point, there's nothing to lose by focusing on 5km eggs and hoarding 2ks for easy clearing.
