Ho-oh easy to catch?
I've caught 6 Ho-ohs and it was much easier than for other legendaries:
The first one took 6-7 balls, normal.
But I caught the 5 after that on 1st or 2nd ball that touched it (I'm still getting used to it). If it was all on small circle excellent throws, I'd think it's maybe normal, since the starting circle is so large (r/R...) but my last catch was a first ball normal throw.
It feels as easy to catch as Moltress was hard for me (I was 0/7 at the beginning).
Anyways, does anyone think it's easier, or I am just lucky?

I'm 7/8. The missed one was really low CP that I was throwing a lot of pinaps at. Two of the catches were on the last ball after all golden razzberries, including a gut wrenching 2222 CP. On the other extreme, I managed to catch one on the first throw with a pinap. The rest were somewhere in the middle. I don't hit many excellent throws. I aim for somewhere between half and third sized circle.
Order of difficulty for me (from hardest to easiest) is:
1) Moltres
2) Articuno
3) Raikou
4) Lugia
5) Entei
6) Zapdos
7) Suicune
Ho-oh would probably be between Articuno and Raikou for me. Pinap berries are a joke to Ho-oh. I've yet to catch Ho-oh with a Pinap Berry, something I've have success with every other legendary. It's the first legendary I'm forced to use GR berries on (even one with bad IVs) because it easily breaks out of the ball with the use of other berries. Only reason it's easier than Articuno for me is because of how close and big of a target it is. I can easily get excellent curveballs on it, but with a 2% catch rate, the odds are never in your favor. If Ho-oh was as far away as Lugia was, it would probably be as hard as Moltres was for me.
I almost posted the exact same thing yesterday. Not only has my personal percentage been higher with Ho-Oh (7 out of 9), but it seems like a higher percentage of other people are catching him at the raids I have done. At one raid with 12 people or so, only two or three failed to catch it, and one guy who was using four devices caught three of them on the first throw (he also caught the fourth one). And until the last couple of raids, I was having trouble getting a "great" or "excellent" bonus, yet Ho-Oh was still staying in the pokeball.
I think there's something off about Ho-Oh. The only one I haven't caught is one that my daughter handed her phone to me on the last ball, after she Pinap'ed it (she's 5, so... yeah.), but I'm 9/9 on the others. (2 for her, 2 for my wife, 5 for me) So I'm essentially at %100 for catching this one. I had a harder time yesterday catching a Sandslash than I've had for ANY of the Ho-Oh's I've caught.
Am I that good? Uh... no. I'm decent, I can hit Ho-Oh with a Great Curveball on nearly every throw (which isn't saying much), and my wife and I both have the Gold Medal for Fire/Flying. My daughter doesn't - and yet I'm still catching it for her nearly every time. (one throw, last ball with a Pinap, being the only exception) There's no reason I should be at %100 with a sample size of 9 across 3 different accounts.
Yet I am.
So there is something decidedly weird with Ho-Oh. I'm not complaining, naturally, but it is weird.
