Have 11 gold around my house, but my city has more than 100 gyms. There are still gyms i have no badge from,

Congrats! This should be impossible in my city, where gyms rarely survive eight hours and golden razzberries are the only viable defence.

I'm actually very blessed that I have 87 gyms in my small town half of them within 4 miles of my house. I have 29 gold so far.

I'm not even half way there. There's seven gyms in my area and I have gold on the three closest to me.
I have silver on three, around 40-60% from gold, and the last one is only bronze, because it's far away and at a place I only go for raids.

One in my raid group is aiming to get gold at all gyms, including nearby towns. I think it's a total of 53 gyms.

I have two out of two, but I don't think that counts.

Oh lord, it would take years to get gold in the whole of london!

I live on an island so that would be the endgame. Unfortunately there are several spots where few people get reception. The current leader here has about 40. I just hit 24. Some players will tell you there's a guy with over 50 but he's a known spoofer - doesn't count!
