Has the candy drop rate from feeding berries decreased?
Previously, it is was 1%, but now, it seems to be rarer.

I fed about 700 to only 3 Pokémon species during the event : Blissey , Tyranitar and Snorlax and only got 2 Chansey candies.
I know because I strictly worked on two new gyms to get a Gold Badge and my wife and I used only those species and only got 2 Chansey candies. Was also the shortest amount of days defended but had so many candies fed to get one Gold. My usual time spent was between 17-19 days but I got one of the 2 (both Gold now in 14 days and some change). I know the quantity of candies received as well because I spent rare candies to finish maxing out my 2 Blisseys and spent exactly the right amount to bring them both to Level 39 which would’ve left me at exactly 0 Chansey candies; but I ended up with 2 total.
I've actually been getting more candy from feeding berries recently. I've gotten three or four in just the last couple days, from fewer than 100 berries. Before that, I fed like 500 berries to my Mareep during the Halloween event and only got candy once.
While we're on the topic, I've been wondering about something related. Does anyone know if any berry you feed in a sequence can give you candy, or is it only the first one? I often feed my Mareep berries until it's about to explode, but I've only ever gotten candy from the first berry at any one time, never from any of the following 9 berries.
