Best Ways to Beat Down Blissey: Version II?

https://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/best-ways-beat-down-blissey

This article was written for the old gym system. With the gym rework and legendaries released, what are the current best Blissey counters? I suppose Flareon is no longer the best answer to DG, which Dragonite, Machamp and Tyranitar are weak to.

Machamp is still the fastest.

Top additions would be Moltres and Entei with neutral DPS and resistance to fairy. Moltres would be shorter time, but I think Entei should have higher survivability.

Raikou and Lugia might be worthwhile also, but longer time.

Mewtwo with Focus Blast is also a great combatant for Blissey.

Machamp is still the best Blissey counter, but you have to dodge charge moves with him.

If you don't like dodging charges, Mewtwo with Focus Blast is an option, and Moltres is also in the mix, since it has an attack stat equal to Tyranitar's, a very high DPS moveset and resists Dazzling Gleam.

Machamp (highest DPS)
Mewtwo with FB (slightly lower DPS than Machamp with higher survivability)
Dragonite/Tyranitar (great generalist)
Fire/Steel (resist DG, not weak to ZH)
Poliwrath with Bubble/DP or RS/DP (lower DPS than Machamp, higher survivability)
Golem with RT (resist Pound and HB, lower DPS, higher survivability)
Vaporeon/Lugia/Rhydon (lower DPS, higher survivability, good anchors)
Gengar with SP/FB or SP/SlB ("immune" to Pound and HB, also great DPS)
Alakazam/Espeon (also great DPS, resist ZH and Psychic, slightly higher survivability)

Golem, Vaporeon and Lugia have awful clear times for Blissey, I would not recommend them. Rhydon is about same speed as Tyranitar (ie. pretty slow) but doesn't last as long.

Poliwrath's survivability against Blissey is actually about the same as Machamp. Type difference isn't relevant (which is what makes Poli more survivable against TTar) but Machamp beats Blissey faster meaning it has less time to take damage itself.

There are a lot of options that deal with Blissey comfortably. I like using my focus blast Mewtwo, but Machamp is very efficient, and even Dragonite has no problem with Blissey. Where I live, its unusual to find a full-strength Blissey anyway, because of the rapid motivation decay.

Blissey stopped being a problem when I didn't have to prestige against her anymore.

I just steamrolled over the occasional Chansey, and focused on gaining prestige against the rest of the gym. Chanseys didn't last long, because of shaving, and were rarely seen in gyms after Blissey was introduced.

I usually ended up trying to beat Blissey with an attacker that had 60-70% of the CP of the Blissey, and occasionally, I failed. If the Blissey had P/HB, it was no problem, but against the better movesets (ZH/DG or even ZH/P), I sometimes came up just short. And potions were scarce back then. Fortunately, a lot of people believed the misguided myth that Blissey with a crappy defensive moveset (e.g. P/HB) was a better defender than any other mon in the game, so not all Blisseys posed much of a problem.

The attackers into Blissey are on the right, sorted by time to win (ie. highest DPS). You can also sort by power (how many Blisseys they can take before fainting) or overall performance.

Machamp>Heracross>FB Mewtwo>Dragonite>FB Alakazam for DPS.
