How long will double stardust last?

As far as I can tell, the stardust award for catching a pokemon in the wild was doubled from 100 to 200 during the most recent event. But the event has been over for about 2 days and I am still getting 200 stardust for every pokemon I catch. Is 200 the standard award going forward?

I've heard/thought/known Dec 1st always had a significance in this event. Ending the 28th right now.

December 1 is what I know of...but I can never keep up with what time zone I am supposed to convert to GMT, to convert to my time zone.

So, December 1 in America somewhere.

Seriously, why can't Niantic use GMT for global announcements, as it is an accepted standard world wide.?
Someone in their office clearly knows it exists as nests change according to GMT.

Now I have had my little rant, I am sure someone will come along and give a more definitive answer.
