The order to fill in the pokédex with buddies (exclude everything except for the candies)
I am asking if you would like to share the opinion of the order to fill in the pokédex:
Charmeleon, 5 candies.
Wartortle, 24 candies.
Vulpix, 31 candies.
Kadabra, 47 candies.
Machoke, 52 candies.
Tentacool, 18 candies.
Graveler, 55 candies.
Ponyta, 32 candies.
Slowpoke, 38 candies.
Magnetmite, 23 candies.
Doduo, 36 candies.
Grimer, 25 candies.
Shellder, 35 candies.
Voltorb/Pikachu, 3 candies.
Exeggcute, 22 candies.

Ok, you added question, cool. At first I thought you just stated the order you are going to fill it in.
Well, obviously it doesn't matter in which order you fill out your Pokédex, so you should get the ones first that you need for battling. Out of the list I would prioritize Exeggutor, Dragonite, Shellder, Alakazam, Slowbro and Gyarados.
I know you said exclude everything but the number of candies and then come up with an order.
That simple doesn't work for me.
The best I could do is give you the "Useful" "Semi Useful" and Not Useful order.
Because IV's and Level would make a difference.
If that Dratini is level 10 but the Magickarp is level 30 I'd do the Magickarp before the Dratini because it would be immediately useful on evolve.
Useful:
Dratini, Magikarp, Exeggute, Abra
Semi Useful
Slowbro, Charmeleon, Shelldar,
Not useful:
Rest
Order within a tier would be based on Pokemon Level and IVs. Also really high level/high IVs might move up 1 and really low down a whole level.
