The most important suggestion to Niantic

I would like all of you to support my suggestion to Niantic. This will save the game.

Please make Pokemon go a multi-world game. For any player who is level 30 and above, she has a chance to decide whether she wants to leave the current world and enter the new world. She can bring 5 her favorite pokemons with her. In the new world, she and the pokemons she brings start at level X (X = her level in the old world - 30) . She also could bring up to 10X candies for each pokemon she brings.

The new world will have new generations of pokemon. For example, the second world will have gen 1 + gen2 pokemons. The third world will have gen 1 + gen 2 + gen 3 pokemons.

The player can choose to play at lower worlds than her achieved world level.

Please support this idea. It will be very fun.

I don't think I get your idea. Isn't this imaginary world big enough? What the point to replaying the game again?

Not replay the game. You enter a new world where lower level players cannot come. You will meet new pokemons that lower level players cannot see. It is privilege, it is power and it is satisfaction.

You got me thinking. How about entering an alternate world of dark pokemons. All your pokemons become a dark version of itself with new moves and look. Like dark Dragonite. Oh snap! Yo, like Legend of Zelda!

I personally don't like the idea just because one thing, most of "normal" players are not level 30, you need a good amount of playing and lucky eggs to get there, people that just play half an hour or hour per day are still around 25 maybe, if they only made gen 2 (world 2 in your case) available for 30 and above a lot of people could not get these new mons.

And only getting 5 mons to "new worlds" does not seems enough for me either.

I am level 33 and I play every day at least one hour, I would like to keep all the mons I have, even the 1k ones I use for prestige gyms.

That's why in my suggestion, you can choose to come back to play in the old world with your lower level friend at any time. But they cannot join you in the new world until they're level 30. That gives them reasons to catch up. Think about it, after a few more months (with many promotion events in between), every body is at level 40, what fun is it?

After a few more months? Do you know that going from level 35 to 40 takes 14 million of experience? Again, most of the people are not hardcore players, we don't play 8+ hours per day. And as you say, you can go back to previous world but they can't join up, so to gen 2 pokémon you need to be at least level 30+, I don't think it is a fair deal, and again it's not for me, I am 33 at this moment, I'm just thinking about most of players.

How about at level 30 we can see portals like gyms and pokestops and enter a dark alternative pokeworld with wacked mons that looks sinister!

Teleport, man... use teleport to enter the next world, man! :)

Yeah and the only way to teleport to the other world is by using Abra as a portal! THIS game would be awesome!!

How is splintering the player base going to help player retention?

Instead of splintering let's enter dark pokeworld!

I like the idea, because I (level 33) would prefer to just play in the gen 1 world for now. There is a lot more I'd like to accomplish in gen 1 before I start trying to fill a new pokedex. The idea of being to go back and forth between worlds is interesting. I could remain a gen 1 player, but occasionally dabble in the gen 2 world with no consequence, and then return to playing in gen 1.

I think that you have to reach lvl 30 so you can see pokemon of Gen2 is a good idea. On a commercial view, Niantic can earn lots of money because people want to get there faster and have to buy more stuff. This money can be used for further development.

Another idea, which I prefer, is to make gen2 pokemon only there available, where no pokemon from gen1 sporn. namely on the country side. People should go into the wild to catch pokemon, not hanging around in the city. Its quite unfair that people living in cities have so many advantages. (I'm living in a big city). In this case also the commercial effect would be huge. Because people need more space in there bags to carry all the pokeballs to catch Pokemons in areas where no pokestops are available (which is kind of realistic).

Do you want the game to die? Because that's what your suggestion would do.

Pokemon basically are the content in this game. People will get super angry and probably quit if almost all the new content is locked behind a grind wall. I know I would, and I'm at level 27 which isn't too far away from your cutoff.

Also I'd like to mention that I've got a friend who I know for a fact is not level 30 and waiting for Gen 2 to start playing again, and I cannot imagine he's the only one. If they did that it would KILL any chance of getting those players to rejoin the game.

ALSO, how many level 30s would actually want 90% of their progress in this game reset? You know what? If you want that you can just get a new account and play on that account.

Agree that new Pokemons should be added when you reach certain level. Perhaps easier implemented by only beeing able to catch some mons at lvl 20, lvl 25 etc.
