The event already started.
Rewards will be unlocked shortly after reaching each milestone and last until December.

As usual, great communication by Niantic. I am deciphering that the catching ends 26th then we have bonuses earned next 2 days but who really knows

If there isn’t a counter this is event is pretty bad, Niantic can just fabricate numbers however they like.

Yeah, typical Niantic, everything as clear as mud. No warning before the event starts, no counter to track our progress, no specificity as to how long the rewards last when they are unlocked. Pokemon Guess-what-i'm-thinking. Seriously, it's as if they think there game is played by robots rather than human beings.

I'll create my own challange, from level 37 to level 40 during double xp.

It's -9C outside, my phone dies in about 30 min from doing just raids. Tomorrow it's going to be +7C and raining. The rest of the week will be between -4C and +1C and rain/snow.

Screw you Niantic. Do this in the (bleeping) Summer.
