Finally: Duo'd Tyranitar!

Video: https://youtu.be/up79hJFXEnM

Since the first successful Tyranitar duo done by the Japenese, I've always wanted to try it. This is hard in terms of stardust and, most importantly, another trainer on board. After the past few months' grinding, I've finally managed to pull it off with trainer polkadotjam. Together with two other trainers, EpiCrimson (fellow GamePresser) and simonyue, we formed this little group which we are proud to call "The Elite Four", will continue to seek more raid challenges!

By the way, below is the list of challenges we have completed recently:
1. Charizard Duo (https://youtu.be/xr7TAOU36r4)
2. Victreebel Duo (https://youtu.be/ukJZ-02cSJM)
3. Lapras Trio (https://youtu.be/oLefcpEgtew)
4. Snorlax Trio (https://youtu.be/y5I-SCVeyfI)
5. Poliwrath Trio (https://youtu.be/8l74CvbqTcs)
6. Entei Trio (https://youtu.be/D-66G3apZHQ)
7. Raikou Quartet (https://youtu.be/YNjneH30UJ8)
8. Suicune Quartet (https://youtu.be/wWFQiOyeKkE)

Awesome video. Bite/Crunch was the moveset for those that haven't clicked on the vid. I guess I can look up if anyone has ever duo'd Fireblast..that would be extreme luck/skill imo. In my 3 and 4 person groups I've found crunch to be in the middle in terms of difficulty

Yes, with the dodge bug, Fire Blast wipes out not only your Machamp but also your dream....

Excellent video! My first Ttar trio was Bite/fire blast and it took 2 attempts. Trainers were 33,32,27 and someone was dual-boxing the lower 2 with no_dodging. We were about 10% short with bad RNG and dodge bug. Attempt #2 allowed me (the solo device 33) to dodge and I had good luck with fireblast landing when I was at low hp already on 1-2. We beat it with 4s left. A bite/stone edge today was a joke by comparison with the same team and even a dodge bug. We have found that bite+crunch/stone edge are easy, whereas iron tail+ either crunch/stone edge to be moderate, and bite/fire blast to be hard while for us iron tail/fireblast may be impossible without perfect RNG for our teams.

Thanks!
Actually, any minimum party size challenge requires luck to some extent. This was our 3rd attempt, in fact. And yes, we failed to an Iron Tail + Fire Blast one miserably some time ago (using the same team). That moveset is a nightmare!

Level 30 Machamp is as good as dead with fire blast (especially coupled with Iron Tail), but I tend to see my Level 37 one survive a full on fire blast. I think, if you have sufficient Machamp (that can survive a full fire blast), you can probably duo it by rejoining, but not in one team of 6.

When I build my L37 Machamp army I would like to try it some day, sadly I only have 1, the rest are at level 30.

I found with good luck that I could survive a fireblast with my 29-30 machamp as long as it landed early before too many bites. This is why iron tail is such an issue though since its more likely that the fire blast will finish you off.

Great work and video! Just love it that you got the same CP and one was caught with the first throw and the other with the last. Keepers for sure!
