Ratio of Evolved to Caught Pokemon ?
I have caught a total of 22,023 Pokemon.
I have evolved a total of 3,528 Pokemon.
This results in a ratio of 1 Pokemon evolved for every 6.24 caught.
I didn't realise that I evolved so many Pokemon compared to the number caught and I was wondering what other peoples ratios are.

Now that the Event is over, I'm at 19097 caught and 2346 evolved.
I still have enough candies for hundreds more evolutions, but I just couldn't catch enough to use them all up, especially the more than 1600 Pidgey candy I still have left. Once I reached level 38, that was my exp goal anyway, so I didn't worry about trying to accumulate evolution fodder after that.
Of course Pidgeys, Caterpies and Weedles affect the statistics.
But that is precisely the reason why most trainers will prioritise catching the "twelvers" over other Pokemons when grinding XP / stardust.
For example, given the choice between catching a Pidgey or a Psyduck, I will always go for the Pidgey first - unless I need the final candies to evolve the Psyduck.
