Waterfall Quick Move & Legacy Hydro Pump

Waterfall will potentially come as a new quick move and some thought it could be added to Gyarados so there would be a double water move set of Waterfall/Hydro Pump. I’ve seen others suggest Hydro Pump could get turned legacy with the arrival of Waterfall making a double water move Gyarados attainable by TM only.

Do you think they would make Hydro Pump a Legacy move on Gyarados?

I've seen the speculation of replacing Hydro Pump with Aqua Tail so there would still be a water charge move. If they do that, then I'd also expect either Crunch or Outrage to be replaced with another 1-bar charge move.

Aqua Tail? I did not hear that one. If that’s the case HP would still be preferable over AT?

Currently, HP does more DPS. But AT is better at the last slot for smoother DPS. AT is also better for dodging and gym sweeping.

We'll see what will happen in the Gen 3 move rebalance.
