What level is acceptable
So I am a lvl 35 and have 2 maxed out Espeon both with C/FS, a maxed Alakazam with PS/P, and 2 maxed out Eggies one is ZH/P the other E/P. I figured I wanted a 6th psychic Mon so a evolved a 98 hatched Abra and got a C/FS Zam. My question, do I max him out or is lvl 30 ok since I have those other 5 mons? Thanks.

Just keep it at 30. Alakazam has 2 uses, against Machamp and Gengar. Neither of them you need a maxed out Alakazam to defeat.
Against Gengar, Psycho Cut reaches it's maximum 8 damage at 14 or 15 attack IV at level 30. Although against Machamp this 8 damage breakpoint is at level 34 (also for 14 or 15 attack IV), Machamp is a relatively easy boss to solo, especially with the Pokemon that you have, that powering up to that breakpoint is unnecessary.
Confusion breakpoints are not really significant in the same way that charge move breakpoints aren't - because the move is so slow and because it already deals high damage that an extra point is not a relatively large increase compared to weaker and faster moves.
