Exeggutor TM?

One of my new goals has been to assemble teams that let me solo level 3 raids and one of the last I need to make is for Omastar.

I have two Exeggutor with E/SoB at 2449 and 2439 CP. I have a bunch of other level 20 Exeggutor due to living in a grass biome and from raids.

Should I TM these two that are already powered up to Bullet Seed? The only time I really use them are against water defenders or raid bosses. I know some use them as generalists, which I also did until I got my Dragonites and Tyranitars.

I think two of the level 20 ones have BS/SoB, but if I could save some stardust that would be great.

Yes if you're unable to do it with Extrasensory, as bullet seed is the best move on an Exeggutor when it's double super effective.

It's also better than Extrasensory when only single effective but not by much.

The downside is that they'll no longer be useful for soloing Machamps, which is why I suggest TMing only if you -need- Bullet Seed to be able to solo Omastar.

Thanks. I pretty much have no problem with Machamp at the moment and the only Exeggutor I use is one with C/P.

I changed my highest Extrasensory to Bullet Seed because I wanted double-Grass on at least one of my Eggies. I also already had C/SB, so rarely pulled out the other one. Now I find myself going to it much more often.

Yes, TM them. With ES, they are not that great against either Machamp or Omastar. With BS, they are the best grass attacker in the game. There is a huge difference in effectiveness against Omastar, for which you need at least five good double grass attackers. I failed with four plus two powered up legendary electrics, and then I swapped out the electrics for two CP 1900 Victreebels, and beat the Omastar with 20 seconds remaining. It's critical to fully exploit that double weakness to grass.

ES/SoB Eggy is a good solid generalist, but with the current gym system, you don't need an army of generalists, and Dragonite and T-tar do the job better. When it comes to raids, DPS is critical, so the compromises that make good generalists work against you. And it's not like you'll never be able to get ES/SoB again (if they had confusion, I might hang onto them).

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to TM them.

Edit: It cut their Time to Win on Pokebattler from ~169 seconds to ~153.

Now the question is: should I power up a BS/SB at level 26 or a BS/SoB at level 20 to at least level 30?

Candies and dust are irrelevant. Don't really want to gamble with a charged TM on the Seed Bomb one.

Both, ideally. It kind of depends what else you have, because like I said, I think you need at least five strong double grass attackers. Maybe consider powering them both up to the breakpoint where bullet seed does 10 damage (level 26.5-29.5 depending on the attack IV).

I've also got a 2159 VW/SoB Venusaur and a TS/WC Raikou at 2816 that I plan on powering up one more time to get it to level 30.

The Raikou won't help you as much as a double grass Victreebel or Vileplume. Or even a Tangela, probably. If you have five good grasses, the Raikou might be enough to mop up.
