So I spent the better part of 3 weeks stockpiling dust only to spend 115k in about 3 minutes, that hurt. But I’ve finally got a team that I’m comfortable at least attempting a Machamp solo. It’s not real optimized yet but at least it’ll give me an idea & should be good enough to let the wife & I double team it.

Go for it. That's what dust is for.

Oh I know. It was just a bit humorous how fast I burned through it & only got 2 to lvl 29.5(one of which was around 28 already), another to 28 & a 4th to 26-27

I know it won’t be enough for a successful solo but it’ll get me an idea of what I need heading forward.

2494 Espeon ZH/FS 11/15/15
2445 Espeon Conf/FS 14/10/10
2177 Zam Conf/FS 12/12/15
1983 Gengar SP/SlgB 15/10/15
1961 Espeon Conf/FS 9/15/4
2221 D’nite DgT/HypB 14/14/12
2095 Gyradose Bt/HP 14/14/15

IV’s are in s/a/d format. I ran out of candy to get the Zam to 29.5 & dust to get the other Espeon there

You'll get there. Anytime you catch decent high-level Eevees (CP 700+), make them into Espeons. That is the easiest way to get good Machamp counters. The Gengar, Dragonite, and Gyarados will not be very helpful with those movesets even if they were powered up. Do you have any other strong mons with flying or psychic moves?

Those 3 are included mainly there for their resistance & are why I said it’s not optimized. That’s the highest lvl Gengar & Gyrados & only D’nite I have & my heights lvl Eggy is BS/SoB. I do have a 1800cp 1/15/15 ZH/Psy Espeon

My wife and I started taking down Machamp by ourselves when she was level 25 And I was 33. They're not that tough. They were the easiest of the old Tier 3 raids.

Machamp can be a challenge going solo though. Calling it “easy” to solo in their guide only applies to level 35+ players.

Well one popped up close to work so I farted over there just to give it a try. Rolled w/ my 3 best Espeons, Zam, Gengar & D’nite & got him down under 1/4 health while missing a few dodges so only got 2 FS’s out of 2 of my 4 psychic types. I was able to jump back in w/ 20 seconds left so I think next time I’ll swap Gengar for my next Espeon hope for a bit better dodging & see if I can clean up w/ the auto-selected 2nd team.

Oh, and I’m not sure of the fast move, it was a whole bunch of fist around my mon & Heavy Slam.
