GamePress

I have questions about the "NEW" Po-Go

1.) Could Gamepress add support for Draconius Go? Seems like that is a fair question to start with.

2.) Does Niantic have people here making the rules?

3.) Does anyone think that a competitor can cause Niantic to work harder for us, making their product better?

4.) Do YOU think you could enjoy playing both Pokemon Go and Draconius Go or is one game more than enough for you?

5.) I am level 40. After all of the time and money is it even worth starting over with a new game?

6.) Is Draconius Go going to keep Pokemon Go from delaying so many things? (trading-PVP-new mons)

7.) Do YOU think its fair to talk about Draconius Go without your comments being removed?

8.) For anyone who has played Draconius Go what are your thoughts?

I'm in a city, so I'm not one to complain about Pokestops, but more of them in rural areas could be an improvement that is hastened

Just create another gamepress website.

Po Go killed Ingress for me, and likely many others. I don't see anyone playing both games consistently.

This late in generation 2, somebody could only play double stardust/double xp events and still do fine in PoGo. To me this event is different b/c I don't need any gen 2 candy, so I don't mind checking out D-Go

PoGo demands too much of your phone, so you can barely text your friends running a year old phone already...
I tried play ingress and pogo at the same time but it's impossible. You have to choose one or the other. Same for Draconius. Unless you have a PoGo plus and a powerful phone forget about counting Km walked for both games

I played it all day, and I loved it. There's more to it, especially the portals. More mechanics, daily quests, a freakin' treasure map and PVP, although it should be noted it's a sort of random PVP. There isn't as many spawns as Pokémon Go, but most of the pokemon in the game are just fodder for EXP and stardust.

I hope this will inspire Niantic to do likewise. Surely they can. A little competition can be good, but people who truly love PoGo won't be tempted (I live in a rural area, but a great PoGo park is 4 km away. More rural spawns - near my house even! - would make the game perfect for me).

I wrote about my DraGo initial experience, but it was removed. So I will hold off commenting until I know it's not gonna be a waste of time.

I've seen a lot of buzz about this new game but in the end Niantic has one big ally on it's side that no competitor will ever have.

Nintendo.

Most of the players that I know that are still playing this game and spending money on it are Pokemon fans. They are not playing it because it's a good game. Everyone complains about the game instability and Niantic's horrible communication. The new gym system has basically eliminated any competitive strategy. It's possible Niantic might feel a little pressure to change things but in the end they have the rights to use the Pokemon which will give them the edge, even against a game with better mechanics and playability.

So you're pretty sure spoofers are gonna go all around town spoofing this spoof.

I hope spoofers will move to this new game, which doesn't even remotely interest me, and leave for good.

I have played DraconiusGo for a week now.

If you are looking for guides/tutorials there is already a DraconiusGo reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DraconiusGO/

Not as active and not as much information as PoGo for now. There aren't any IV calculators yet (not that I'm aware).

To some of your questions:
- I'm enjoying the novelty of Draconius. I am quite fed up of PoGo at the minute. But I don't think that I'm going to play both. I consider Draconius a break until Gen3 is released and EX raids are fixed. Halloween event didn't hook me up at all.

- Draconius levelling system is exactly the same as PoGo. I don't know if there is a lvl40 level cap as well. But XP that you need to level up is exactly the same as PoGo levels. I levelled up to 23 so far. To check if the creatures from eggs are also limited to level 20 (they are indeed).

- I recommend you NOT to spend a penny in double XP items. You don't really need them. I have made some calculations and I think that I can reach level 27-28 with only the free "lucky eggs". The reason: you can skip animations on mass evolution (see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sNfsyN-b5E)

- Yes, I think that is good for customers that Niantic has some competition. Draconius is in an early stage yet. It has been launched as what I'd consider beta version. We don't know if it will get improved or it's just trying to get easy money from PoGo users. So, don't get too excited. In the long run I can tell that you would fill Draconius "pokedex" in only a couple of months. So, it's not giving hope for a long term game... But it's a good enjoyable break from the currently stagnant PoGo.

Draconius has the most chance if Niantic willingly or mistakenly shadow bans Draconius users. Really though, the only thing to do right now is fish for shinies, to better abide by the TOS, best to try a D-Go account instead of build up a PoGo sidekick account

I'm sure Niantic lawyers are busy... Sounds like shameless copyright infringement.

No, thanks.
