Honestly this has been brought up numerous of times but I’ve never responded until now; to you and everyone else asking, are you seriously going to spend rare candies on something SO EARLY into its release when it’s going to be around for a while? Like as soon as you catch the very first Pokémon of it’s species, are you going to dump rare candies to accommodate the cost for evolutions plus stardust?
Stardust really is never an issue since it can be acquired daily. Candies for specific Pokémon, now that’s a different story but are you going to jump the gun and spend rare candies on a 3km/candy Gen 3 Pokemon just to be the “first” in your area with a maxed out (level 30 for the majority of y’all) Gen 3 Pokémon?
Like how early are y’all planning to power up a Gen 3 Pokémon if they just released and y’all don’t have enough candies yet but are already asking about the stardust ?
