Am I ready to solo Arcanine?

1: Golem CP 2224 IV91 (14/13/14) RT/RB L27
2: Vaporeon CP 2807 IV80 (14/14/08) WG/HP L34.5
3: Vaporeon CP 2674 IV73 (08/11/14) WG/HP L32
4: Vaporeon CP 2599 IV96 (14/15/14) WG/AT L29
5: Dragonite CP 3052 IV96 (14/14/15) DT/O L30
6: Dragonite CP 3043 IV93 (14/15/13) DT/O L30
7: Tyranitar CP 3117 IV91 (15/14/12) B/SE

Pokebattler says that the Golem's Time To Win is more than 180 seconds, unless powered up to L34.5 or above. On the other hand, a RT/SE Golem with the same IVs will have higher DPS than the DT/O Dragonites (whose TTW is about exactly 180s), but still not as fast as the WG/HP Vaporeons.

Fire Fang/Crunch is the only Arcanine raid boss moveset where I have 6 attackers (all the Vaporeons, Dragonites and Tyranitar) with a TTW of

SE is the move with higher DPS and that is crucial in Raids, so yes, I would see it as vastly superior in this case.
You will need one Golem at the final breakpoint at Lvl 34 and another Golem in the 30s would be nice. I would prefer Tyranitar over Dragonite.
Edit: I just checked and Pokebattler gives Dragonite only 1.3s more time to win than TTar, while they are Lvl 33.5 and 37.5.

My feeling says that SE is superior.

You might want to power up Dragonite and/or Tyranitar to level 32.5 to hit that breakpoint on Dragon Tail and Bite respectively.

Place Rock Blast at the anchor spot.

No, you need more Vaporeons.

Yes, SE is that much better. I've found that a lot of good 3-bar moves are just not high enough DPS for raids when you are around level 30. RB, AT, C, even XS, mutliple cool downs even short ones kill DPS. The risk is that you may lose a lot of gained energy with 1-bar moves. That's the risk/trade off.

You are certainly close, probably even frustratingly close. The biggest difficulty is that with only the 1-hour window you have much less opportunity to get a favorable distribution of charge moves to win. I beat S/C arcanine with 4s to go with this team (but it took like 12 attempts during the 2-hr raid window):

Lv 30 RT/SE Golem 2460
Lv 31 WG/HP Vap 2695
Lv 30 WG/HP Vap 2564
Lv 31.5 MS/SE Rhydon 2836
Lv 30 DT/O Dragonite 3001

All have iv's in the 80's but most have 14 or 15 attack.

Probably not. These two teams were my first tries ever today on Arcanine solo, and I failed with both. Narrow but clear. If I’d tried long enough I probably would have succeeded in the end because once in a while you get lucky with postponed charge attacks, but I want a team that will succeed in at least 75-80 % of the tries.
I agree with the comment that SE and HP seem clearly superior to RB and AT.

First team didn’t hit yellow before 90, but second did. No problem with survival so don’t even think about dodging.

Second team hit yellow with 93 left so more Vaps or Stone Edge will do it. Boss had Fire Blast.

When raids first came out I failed with this lineup using any/every permutation from the list below:
Lv 31 RT/RB Golem CP 2472
Lv 31 RT/RB Golem CP 2417
Lv 31.5 MS/SE Rhydon CP 2836
Lv 31.5 MS/SE Rhydon CP 2838
Lv 31 MS/EQ Rhydon CP 2833
Lv 31 WG/HP Vape CP 2695

RT/SE is solid, your problem is that your Golem is only level 27 (even with RB). All the break point fanatics seem to think that if your quick attack is between breakpoints, the mon are the same, or almost the same. That just ain't true.

I worked golem from day one, and have three strong ones, who do a great job on fire and legendary birds. Vaporeon will work fine as long as you don't get hit with wild charge, and then you need Golem.

Good luck with it.
