Anyone get double berry feeding candy?
I've been trying. About 80 berries fed and no luck so far to see if I get 2 candy.

Daltry - Heretofore I have been oblivious to what apparently is the fact that candy might be awarded as the result of feeding berries to a pokemon in a gym. So let me ask some questions:
1. (Basic question) If a trainer feeds a berry to a pokemon in a gym is there a chance that a candy specific to the pokemon being fed will be awarded to that trainer?
2. If so, is that chance totally random or is there something that can be done to increase the chance of that award?
3. Does the pokemon being fed have to be a pokemon placed in the gym by the trainer feeding the candy?
4. Does the gym have to be under control of the team to which the player belongs in order to have a chance to be awarded of the candy?
5. Insofar as the award of candy is concerned, does it matter what berry is fed to the pokemon?
6. What else do you know about this topic?

The gym does have to be under control of your team to feed the Pokémon in it, but you do not have to have a Pokémon in that gym to feed the others. You can feed whatever berry you like, but I haven't seen a better berry to candy ratio using say, Golden Razz vs. Pinap. I feed about 50 berries a day and usually get a candy every other day or so that I notice. If I am not fully stocked on berries and there is a Pokémon that I want more candy for in the gym, I usually feed it as many(10) as I can to maximize the chance of getting that candy. Hope this helps.
1. Yes, there is a chance to get a candy specific to the fed pokemon. I haven't seen any research on this but my gut feeling is 1% chance. You can see the candy in the upper right corner above the stardust reward. It is easy to miss if you are not looking for it.
2. I don't know, haven't seen research on this.
3. No, I got candies from other ppl pokemon.
4. Obviously, you can't feed a rival gym.
5. Not that I know of, I got candies from all kinds of berries except GR but I rarely feed them.
6. That's it. I only feed dragonites and ttars.
